Once Angelina Jolie had her ovaries removed (along with her fallopian tubes), she entered menopause at the age of 40. She got them removed when tests indicated she might be in the early stages of developing cancer. Given that her mother, maternal grandmother, and a maternal aunt all died of ovary or breast cancers, and Angelina had the gene that indicated she was at risk for developing those types of cancers as well, it makes sense that she decided to take aggressive action. Now, Angelina said she’s had an easy transition into menopause.
Most actresses in Hollywood have to be seriously concerned- about their careers, anyway- as they enter their forties due to ageism in the entertainment industry. However, Angelina Jolie celebrated her fortieth birthday this year, and she isn’t worried about growing older. Then again, I guess it helps when you’re growing old with Brad Pitt.
Of course everyone is wondering if Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s new movie, ‘By The Sea,’ is in any way reflective of their real life, especially since Angelina wrote the script. Angelina has made it clear that the answer is no, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have their, well, “issues.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt graced the red carpet last night for the NYC premiere of their new movie, ‘By The Sea.’ As you can see from the pictures, they both looked sensational. We see why they’re widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s hottest couples, if not THE hottest Hollywood couple.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attended the WSJ. Magazine 2015 Innovator Awards last night in New York City. They matched in basic black for the awards show. The ‘By The Sea’ stars also had a sit-down for the WSJ. Magazine’s Innovator Issue and talked about a wide range of topics.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are appearing on the big screen together again for the first time in 10 years- since they met on the set of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith.’ Now they’re starring in ‘By The Sea’; last night they attended a Q&A for the movie in NYC. Brad and Angelina may play a couple that is having problems in ‘By The Sea,’ but I think it’s clear from their coziness for the cameras that they’re doing okay in real life ;).
There’s no question that a lot has happened since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of the 2005 movie ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’! They now have six kids (Angelina had already adopted Maddox when she met Brad), have gotten married, and Angelina has undergone some major surgeries with a preventative double mastectomy and her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed. They spoke out about the past decade in an interview.
