Longtime friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are collaborating once again to executive produce a new TV sitcom. The Good Will Hunting screenwriters will work together on More Time With Family, a comedy which has been picked up by CBS.

Tom Papa will star in the half-hour comedy, as a man who undergoes a career change and leaves his life on the road to spend more time at home with his family, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The show is believed to be based on comedian Tom Papa’s stand-up routine and will also include experiences based on Damon’s personal life.

Papa and Damon previously worked together on The Informant and most recentlyBehind the Candelabra.

Argo star Ben Affleck has lavished Sexy Back singer Justin Timberlake with praise, stating that the former N Sync star is “incredibly gifted.”

The 41-year-old star further explained that he is one of JT’s “biggest fans,” saying: “I love Justin. Being around Justin is inspiring, he works really hard, he’s incredibly gifted. There’s nothing the guy can’t do. I really am the biggest fan of his. I’m trying to win tickets to the show.”

Contact Music further quote Affleck as saying: “He dances like Michael Jackson, sings, writes music…There’s 400 million boy bands, he’s the one guy that became a gigantic star.”

The pair star in Runner Runner, a thriller drama that sees Timberlake’s character (Richie) cheated out of a large sum of money while online gambling. He travels to Cuba to confront Ivan (Affleck), the man who he thinks has stolen his money.

I don’t know about you, but I believe him! Hollywood actor Ben Affleck has insisted that he’s a “big boy” and can handle negative comments about his Batman appearance. The 41-year-old star, who is set to play the caped crusader in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, explained that he takes criticism about his acting with a pinch of salt.

Speaking on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Ben said: ”I’m a big boy. If I can handle an Emmy snub, I can handle anything. I handle ****, you know what I mean? I’m very tough. So I saw the announcement, I look at the first comment and it’s like, ‘Ben Affleck is going to be Batman’ and the first one goes, ‘Noooooooo!”’

Ben will star alongside Henry Cavill as Superman in the blockbuster Man of Steelsequel, which is due for release in 2015. To be honest with you, I can’t WAIT to see him in a Batman suit!

It looks like not everyone is up in arms over the decision to cast Ben Affleck as the next Batman. Josh Brolin has confirmed rumors that even though he was considered for the next Batman – and has offered full support to Ben Affleck in the role. The 45-year-old star had been heavily linked with the role of Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Superman vs Batman movie before Affleck emerged as the chosen actor.

When asked if he had discussed the project with director Zack Snyder, Josh told The Huffington Post: “We did. I didn’t have conversations about it, but Zack, that was part of his idea [for the film]. It just didn’t turn out. It’s OK. It is OK. You know, another scenario might have worked better, but I’m happy for Ben.”

Now that’s one way to get ready for a role! Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner has revealed that her husband, Ben Affleck, has been testing out his Batman voice on her. The 41-year-old actress, who has three children with Ben, explained that her hubby has been perfecting his superhero voice at home.

When asked if she has heard him practising for his role as The Caped Crusader alongside Superman in the sequel to Man of Steel, Garner told MTV News: ”I hear every voice.”

Jennifer, who wed Ben in 2005, further explained that she is confident he will bring something different to the famous role. She added: ”You know, I was excited for him [being cast]. I was excited because he had a real take on what he wanted to do, and you know, I have to say, my husband is a pretty great storyteller himself, and I’m excited to watch him do it.”

It looks like Ben Affleck has one thing on his mind and that’s being Batman. The actor had to clear his schedule and drop out of several projects just so he can concentrate on playing the iconic superhero in his upcoming film.

The 41-year-old star has stepped down from Tell No One and The Stand after accepting the role of Batman in the Man of Steel sequel. The Wrap reports that Ben will no longer direct the remake of Guillaume Canet‘s French thriller Tell No One.

Elsewhere, Deadline reports that Ben will be replaced by Scott Cooper on the upcoming adaptation of the Stephen King apocalypse epic The Stand. The actor and director was previously reported to have exited the Dennis Lehane adaptation Live By Night.

Ben Affleck is “pretty jealous” that Matt Damon kissed Michael Douglas. The ‘Argo‘ star – who is married to actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares daughters Violet, seven, and Seraphina, five, and 13-month-old son Samuel – joked that he was very envious that 68-year-old Michael got to lock lips with his best pal in their new movie ‘Behind the Candelabra‘.

The 40-year-old actor and director told E! News at the premiere of his new movie ‘To The Wonder’ on Tuesday night: “Pretty jealous, pretty jealous. It burns me up. You know, I feel the envy in my heart. I can’t stand it.”

Matt, who is set to renew his wedding vows with his wife Luciana next weekend, previously revealed he calls Ben, who he has been friends with since college, his “hetero life mate” but Ben suggested that their friendship may be in danger. He said: “I saw ‘Behind the Candelabra’. I don’t know about the hetero part anymore.”

Michael’s wife Catherine Zeta-Jones previously admitted that she was also jealous that her husband got to kiss Matt in the film, in which he plays the flamboyant pianist Liberace. She said: “You know if my husband’s going to kiss anyone let it be Matt Damon. I have never kissed Matt Damon. I’m so jealous.”
