In another interview, Madonna spoke out defending Britney Spears and some of her erratic behavior from this past year. Madonna is someone who knows what it’s like to live life totally in the spotlight and she says it’s hard to grow up that way.

“She didn’t get to grow up and make mistakes privately… she’s been under a microscope since she was a teenager, which I think is really tough, it’s hard to evolve that way.”

Madonna also talked about what it was like making music with Justin Timberlake. I can’t believe she was intimidated..I mean, she’s Madonna!!!

“It’s a little bit awkward. You don’t really know them and you feel a little bit nervous and intimidated…Justin admitted to me the other day that he felt the same way. When you write music you’re really exposing something about yourself and if you don’t know somebody you feel a little bit embarrassed.”

It was all in an effort to support manager Larry Rudolph (executive producer of show), but Britney Spears showed up unexpectedly to Rock the Cradle last night. Who cares?! I want to talk about her hair and how fantastic it looks. Why is no one taking credit for this masterpiece? It is 1000% better than what we’ve been seeing for at least a year.

Showtime has submitted Mary Kate Olsen for an Emmy.  The process costs several hundred dollars so people don’t do this unless they’re very serious about it.  She’d be up for best guest actress for her role as Tara Lindman on Weeds if she makes it through the first round of actors’ votes.  Oh, and guess who else is getting Emmy buzz before the show she taped has even aired…Lindsay Lohan for her part of Ugly Betty!  People are also saying that CBS will officially enter Britney Spears’ episodes on How I Met Your Mother for consideration.

Those are new right? They look the same as the old ones because of the coloring. But please tell me I am right to think these are a brand spanking new pair of boots. Britney Spears was photographed leaving the recording studio after a long day of work. I wonder if they tell artists to not speak so much when they aren’t singing to rest their vocal cords while working on an album.  Anyone in the industry that could shed some light?

Although custody has not changed, Britney Spears has been granted more time with her children according to Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

(It will be) “more than it has been.“

Not much to go on here, but at least it’s a step in the right direction. It’s obvious to all that Britney is trying to reclaim her life back and is finally in the hands of a competent team. Keep going Brit!

Update: TMZ is reporting that she will get three days supervised a week. She also was guaranteed Mother’s Day. More from Us Weekly:

“The court made orders today, they were orders that the parties were able to mostly agree to,” Kaplan said. “It represents a cautious step moving forward.”Kaplan said the court was “pleased with the progress that seems to be occurring” with Spears daily.He called the court’s ruling “a step in the right direction. “The children are doing great — that’s the key,” Kaplan said. “That’s what all of this is about.”

TMZ is reporting that Britney Spears will appear in court tomorrow to personally ask the judge for more time with her kids. Her lawyer is planning to argue that the amount of time she’s allowed with her children should reflect the progress that she’s been making recently. They say this could be one of the most important hearings yet.

And in other Britney news, she was recently in Louisiana for Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby shower. The guests were warned ahead of time that they weren’t allowed to bring up any of Britney’s “antics” from the past year, but when she arrived, she made a personal apology for causing so much family drama.

I was wrong when I reported that Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff had broken up. Dimples and his dancing partner are still going strong. So strong that he’s even taken her home to meet his mom, which isn’t something Mario takes lightly. Mario thinks that the rumors are ridiculous and he blames none other than Miss Britney Spears.

“See what happens when Britney starts behaving? People start making up all kinds of things.”

As long as he doesn’t blame me…close call! 

He also responded to people saying he was involved with a socialite named Phoebe Price (huh?).

“I don’t even know who that is!”
