New Rumor: Is Rihanna Going To Be On “The X Factor”

It’s official. Simon Cowell is playing games with us. First there were rumors that Britney Spears was going to join the judging panel on “The X Factor” and then there were whispers that LeAnn Rimes and even Stacy Keibler were going to join, too. Now you might as well throw Rihanna‘s name in the hat because it looks like she is being considered for the job as well!

According to, sources close to the singer say that she is in negotiations to join the reality competition show and that there’s a good chance that she might become a judge. Um, haven’t we heard this same thing with Britney already?

What do you think is going on here? Is Simon just trying to drum up interest for the show (which had pretty poor ratings, by the way) with all these rumors? That’s what I’m thinking…

Stacy Keibler Might Be Joining “The X Factor”

And here I was thinking that we might be seeing Britney Spears on the small screen, but it looks like Simon Cowell has plans for another blonde bombshell instead. Rumor has it that George Clooney’s current girlfriend, Stacy Keibler might be joining the judging panel at “The X Factor.”

According to the New York Post, a source says:

“Stacy is in talks to join the show, but her lack of experience in the music business may make her more appropriate as a host.”

“She looks fantastic and has bags of charisma.”

We’re not sure what’s going on here – is Simon trying to throw us off by secretly bringing on Britney while we’re all wondering why Stacy is even being considered for the show, or did negotiations fall out between “The X Factor” and our favorite pop princess?

While Stacy was great during her stint on Dancing with the Stars, I’m really not sure how she would do on “The X Factor” given the fact that she has no music background. Looking good is one thing, but knowing what to say is another! What are your thoughts?

Update: Britney Spears In Final Negotiations For The X Factor

It looks like Britney Spears might be making the ultimate comeback by joining the judging panel for The X Factor. The chart topper is reportedly in final negotiations in joining the competition reality show with former American Idol panelist, Simon Cowell.

According to People Magazine, no one is spilling any details, but several sources have hinted that Brit Brit will more than likely become a judge, but for how much money, no one knows. As far as Simon on the deal, he is quoted as saying:

“Are we flattered that there could be interest? Yes. I’ve learned a big lesson: Keep your mouth shut. Don’t give it all away.”

The pop star-turned-judge formula has so far worked for Jennifer Lopez on American Idol and Christina Aguilera on The Voice, so we’re more than certain it will help pull in viewers of Britney joined The X Factor. What do you think? Will you be watching show?

Britney Spears Has Reportedly Been Offered $10 Million To Judge ‘The X-Factor’

Please, please, PLEASE let this be true! According to E! Online, Britney Spears has been offered $10 million to judge the US version of The X-Factor.

A source confirmed to E! that Britney’s fiance, Jason Trawick, has “been negotiating for some time” with show execs. Although an official deal has yet to be inked, the report also claimed that Brit’s holding out for $16 million.

I don’t know about you, but I’d LOVE to see Britney on The X-Factor. After spending most of her life in the music industry, I’m sure Brit could offer plenty of advice to aspiring artists. Plus, the show’s creator/judge, Simon Cowell, is said to be “fascinated” by her.

“I would think that if she’s managed to sustain in her family life a career which is tough, this is a walk in the park,” said Simon about Britney.

Would you like to see Britney sit beside Simon at the judges table next season?

Lady Gaga Reaches 20 Million Twitter Followers

The Queen of Twitter has reached a new milestone: Lady Gaga has reached a new milestone: 20 million followers on twitter. I can’t even wrap my brain around THAT MANY people following the tweets of one person!

Justin Bieber “languishes” behind with 18.1 million twitter followers (another number that leaves me speechless). Since Lady Gaga surpassed Britney Spears as having the most twitter followers in 2010 (that’s when she dubbed herself “The Queen of Twitter”), she has been the most followed celeb on twitter.

And to add insult to injury: Lady Gaga doesn’t even tweet daily. Her last post was on March 3. Her “little monsters,” as she calls her fans, obviously don’t care. There’s a reason she was named “The Most Powerful Celebrity” last year!

Oooh I hope this is true because this would definitely make me watch The X FactorUs Weekly is reporting that according to sources, Britney Spears has expressed an interest in joining the judging panel for the talent search show.

We know there’s lot of room for Brit now that judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger have been let go, and it has been rumoured that Simon Cowell was looking for a big name to fill the vacancy.  It was even rumoured that Cowell was trying to get Beyonce to sign on to be a judge.

I would love it if Britney Spears joined the show and I think she would be just what the show needed get more viewers.  What do you think? Would you watch Britney as a judge?

Music mogel Clive Davis held his annual Pre-Grammy Gala last night. Singer Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian attended, along with Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Clive was also the executive who signed Whitney Houston to a record deal and mentored her throughout her career. He spoke about her to the partygoers:
