We’ve certainly been seeing a lot of Nicole Kidman lately, haven’t we!
The actress was seen arriving in Venice today with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke. I wonder if this was a business meeting or pleasure.
Nicole must be getting ready to promote her new projects because there have been almost daily sightings lately.

Shiloh Fernandez, Amanda Seyfried, Max Irons, and director Catherine Hardwicke are in London this afternoon to attend a special screening of ‘Red Riding Hood‘.
Have you had a chance to check this movie out yet? The trailer looked intriguing, but the reviews haven’t been so fantastic (not that I listen those too often).

“Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke is out promoting her upcoming film starring Amanda Seyfried, “Red Riding Hood”. Naturally, the interviewers take the opportunity to talk “Twilight” with her. She shares a few tidbits about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
She says of Kristen trying to convince her rob was the one for the part of Edward:
“I looked at a couple pictures and was like, ‘I’m not sure.’ He had been fired from his last job, he was unemployed, he was in debt.
“I have footage of their first meeting at my dining-room table. Kristen was like, ‘It’s got to be Rob!’ She felt connected to him from the first moment. That electricity, or love at first sight, or whatever it is.”
Catherine says she made Rob promise not to date Kristen, as she was only 17 at the time:
“I told him, ‘You’ve got to realize that Kristen is 17 years old. She’s underage. You’ve got to focus, dude, or you’re going to be arrested.’ I made him swear on a stack of Bibles.”
“Red Riding Hood” stars Amanda Seyfried, Lukas Haas, Gary Oldman, and Billy Burke and is due to hit theaters next Friday.

It sounds like Robert Pattinson tried to end all speculation about his relationship with ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart, but then ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke just had to chime in
“[We’re] good friends,” Robert told [Vanity Fair], though he had plenty of warm feelings for his co-star. “I think she’s the best young actress around. She’s influenced how I’ve done all the ‘Twilight’ stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything.”
Somehow (I guess you have to read the entire Vanity Fair article to figure it out) Robert managed to equate not being “much of a crowd person” with not being the kind of guy to go on “secret dates with Kristen.”
“It’s like, ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!'” he said.
Yet Vanity Fair also spoke to ‘Twilight’ director Catherine, who had this to say about Kristen and Robert’s relationship:
“What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination.”
I suspect that will only add fuel to the fire for fans who want Robert and Kristen to get together in real life, just like their characters! LOL
Does it matter to you what they do in real life or are you only concerned with the movies?

‘Twilight‘ director Catherine Hardwicke has landed her next gig. She will be directing a werewolf movie that has a teenage love triangle as its focus.
No, it’s not ‘Breaking Dawn‘… it’s ‘The Girl With the Red Riding Hood‘.
Werewolf movie, written by David Johnson, is a gothic retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story, with a teenage love triangle at its center.
Talk about taking chances! Some people like to stay in their comfort zones – and perhaps Catherine doesn’t want to sway too far off the path that brought her fame and fortune.
