The Cast Of ‘Lincoln’ Pay A Visit To The Italian Senate

Have you seen Lincoln yet?  I hate to admit it but I have absolutely no interest in seeing this movie!  I know it’s probably going to win some huge awards at the Oscars, and Daniel Day Lewis always so brilliant in everything he’s in, but this movie just has no appeal for me.  How about you?

I think before The Golden Globes many would have thought Lincoln would be a lock to win the best picture award at The Oscars, but after Argo’s big win at The Globes I think it might be a closer race now.  Here are stars Daniel Day Lewis and Sally Field along with director Steven Spielberg visiting the Italian Senate in Rome.  How great does Sally Field look? Amazing!

Steven Spielberg’s Movie ‘Lincoln’ Closes Out AFI Fest

I am looking forward to THIS movie! Steven Spielberg’s new movie, ‘Lincoln,’ was the final movie to debut at the AFI Fest. It stars Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln and Sally Field as Mary Todd LincolnJoseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones also star in the movie. With Spielberg directing and this cast, I am IN.

It’s based in part on the book ‘Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln’ by Doris Kearns Goodwin. This movie focuses on Lincoln’s final months in office. If you’ve seen ‘Schindler’s List’ or ‘Amistad’ then you know Steven Spielberg does an amazing job dramatizing history on the big screen. You can “Like” ‘Lincoln’ on Facebook and follow the movie on twitter.  Below is an international trailer for the movie ‘Lincoln.’

Hot New Trailer – Daniel Day Lewis In ‘Lincoln’

hot new trailer for lincoln

Daniel Day Lewis stars as Abraham Lincoln (and not as a vampire hunter :)) in this upcoming movie that details Lincoln’s quest to abolish slavery.  This is definitely one star studded cast too, featuring Lewis as the title character as well as Joseph Gordon Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field and James Spader.  Looks interesting.

Penelope Cruz Was Terrified Of Singing For ‘Nine’

Penelope Cruz was terrified of singing in new film ‘Nine’.

Speaking on the red carpet at the London premiere of the musical movie in Leicester Square last night, the 35-year-old Spanish actress admitted her singing was a bit rusty because she hadn’t done it in public for years.

The 35-year-old star told BANG Showbiz:

“Singing was terrifying because it was new and because it was my first time. It was like doing theatre, but I only did theatre as a student in Spain.”

Penelope – who plays seductress, Carla Albanese, who seduces Daniel Day-Lewis’ character, director Guido Contini, in the film – also revealed her sexy look in the movie was aided by some very good costume designers.

“The woman who designed the costumes for every one of us, I think she really must be one of the most amazing artists.”

Penelope was joined on the red carpet by several of her co-stars, including Nicole Kidman, 42, Kate Hudson, 30, and Dame Judi Dench, 74.

Judi admitted she was surprised by how well all the actresses got along, saying:

“They’re wonderful, I mean every single one, I swear you’re going to be surprised. They’re going to surprise everyone.”

This movie is going to be GREAT! I can’t wait to see it.
