Oh boy. It sounds like George Lucas isn’t exactly thrilled with ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ no matter that the film has made over $1 billion in record time. He got honest about why he decided to sell ‘Star Wars’ to Disney and what he thinks of ‘The Force Awakens.’
Never let it be said that Lupita Nyong’o doesn’t know how to dress for an occasion. I’m still in awe of that pearl Oscar dress (even if the pearls did end up being fake), and she did not disappoint for the LA premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ All of the cast was there, from veterans Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher to newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Adam Driver. Check out all the red carpet pics after the break and tell me what you think of Lupita’s gown: Love It or Hate It?
After seven years of dating, ‘Star Wars‘ creator George Lucas is ready to make things official with Mellody Hobson. A rep for Lucasfilm confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter that George and Mellody are engaged to be married. George is making a lot of changes: he only recently sold Lucasfilm (including the ‘Star Wars’ rights) to Disney. Then he turned around and donated a good amount of the $4 billion (yes, with a “b”) to an education foundation. George said then:
“As I start a new chapter in my life, it is gratifying that I have the opportunity to devote more time and resources to philanthropy.”
It looks like George will also have the time to devote to marriage. Congratulations to George and Mellody!

‘Red Tails’ is George Lucas’ new film coming out this month. It’s the first non-‘Star Wars’ movie he’s done in decades. It’s the story of the Tuskegee Airmen and has quite a cast, including Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding, Jr.
Does ‘Red Tails’ sound like something you want to see? I’m so impressed that George Lucas has produced another movie!
George Lucas unveiled the trailer for his latest project “Red Tails” this week at the EAA AirVenture aviation convention, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard.
The film is based on the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American pilots to fly in a combat squadron during World War II.
The movie is expected to hit theaters in January.
