What do you think?
Here’s Jake Gyllenhaal talking about how MLB is getting involved with the movement. Watch the video and let me know what you think.
I must admit, Jake looks good in his suit, doesn’t he? And he doesn’t look at all bad in the trailers I’ve seen of ‘Prince of Persia.’ He clearly put a lot of effort into getting buffed for that role, and that effort paid off. He looks HAWT.
Are you looking forward to ‘Prince of Persia’?

Gemma Arterton didn’t get to hang out with Jake Gyllenhaal while making ‘Prince of Persia: Sands of Time‘ – because he was always in the gym.
The 24-year-old actress – who plays Princess Tamina in the action adventure movie – admits there was little time to get to know the Oscar-nominated star because he was so busy bulking up to play the titular character Prince Dastan. She told BANG Showbiz:
“We didn’t have time to socialize. He was too busy in the gym – although we did go to dinner. It was all very civilized. But he’s so much fun. He’s gorgeous.”
What a shame. Perhaps these two would have really hit it off. While being interviewed, Gemma revealed her secret to staying slim.
“I don’t eat boxes and boxes of chocolates! But I still eat what I like. And I do a bit of exercise.”
A bit of exercise – wonder if that means going to the gym 4 times a week. LOL!

Jake Gyllenhaal was seen heading into the Claridge’s Hotel in London late last night. The actor is gearing up for the release of ‘Prince of Persia’ and I’m sure the majority of his fanbase is eager to buy their tickets. The men will be into this movie because it’s based on a popular video game. The women will be at the theatre to see Jake dirty, buff and shirtless! What?! It’s true!
When asked about his workout routine prior to shooting the movie, Jake said he tried to stay true to the character.
I did a lot of training, a lot of running, working out and different types of sports. I am someone who doesn’t love to be inside so I enjoyed being outdoors. I was training like I was going into battle. As from the video game Dastan has to be very agile. It is not just like “Gladiator”-style fighting although we have all of that. It is also about being able to jump over walls and climb up and run on them. I simulated that as much as I could in training.
Wonder if he’s keeping up with some of his new moves? The results were astonishing. Have you seen this boy in action?

Jake Gyllenhaal has already proven his versatility by starring in films such as Brokeback Mountain and Jarhead. Now he stars in the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, taking on his first action role and solidifying his status as a superstar.
In an interview with GQ correspondent Chris Heath, Gyllenhaal opens up about his relationship with Heath Ledger, his parents’ recent divorce (“I think it takes a lot of courage for my parents to make the decision that they made”), and his love for his family.
As for his own life, Gyllenhaal explains, “I’m trying not to keep things so neat. I think I’m realizing my strengths and my faults. I think I’m trying to see what is me…and what is not me.”
Jake Gyllenhaal on working with Heath Ledger: “He was very sensitive. He didn’t always have a sense of performance in his everyday life. He knew who he was. I think actors very often, they know how to present something, and that’s part of their job. I think he was just really sensitive. We often used to do a lot of things together, because people were very interested in him and I think we felt safe together.”
…on how Ledger’s death affected him: “Even when we did Brokeback and stuff, it was like my work was the only thing that mattered to me. It was like I could only understand or define myself through doing that. Life, I didn’t totally understand. And I think I was afraid of life. And I had success in my work, enough success that you could keep going back there. But after that happened…I think I recognized that it was work. And I recognized that this is for real.”
