From what we can tell, it sounds like Jon Voight found out about Angelina Jolie’s wedding to Brad Pitt the same way most of us did: in the media. However, Jon said at the time he wasn’t upset about not being there since he couldn’t have gone anyway: he was nominated for an Emmy, so he would have been in LA for the awards show. Interesting set of priorities :). Well, an insider is speaking out on why Angelina didn’t invite her father. RELATED: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt open up about their wedding.
It looks like we now know where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids have been hiding out this whole time: at grandpa’s house! Actor Jon Voight was spotted stocking up on Cheerios while he was out and about in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Friday afternoon.
With six grandkids, there is no doubt that Jon has his hands full helping out with the Jolie-Pitt clan these days. But it’s nice to see that both Angelina and her father have a good, healthy relationship once again and that Jon is taking part in her family life. Kudos to them for setting a good example for their kids.

Actor and proud grandfather Jon Voight touched down at LAX solo on Feb. 6. The veteran screen star made his way out of the arrivals gate solo last night, but not without giving a few glances and grins to the cameras.

Joined by Elle Fanning and Jon Voight, the pair stepped onto the red carpet together at the Children of Chernobyl’s Children of Heart Gala, where they smiled for the cameras and posed for plenty of pics.
While Michael donned a slick navy suit, Catherine looked glam and gorgeous in her black, floor-length frock.
I’m loving this couple’s classy, yet simple style, are YOU?

You can just feel the love from Jon Voight as he talks about his grandchildren. He gets so excited every time someone from the press brings up Angelina Jolie’s children. Here he is talking about how smart the bunch is:
Shiloh, oh boy, she’s a smart one, but she’s four years old, you can never tell what she does, her face lights up,” the Coming Home Best Actor Oscar winner, 71, told reporters at FOX’s Fall Eco-Casino Party at L.A.’s Boa Restaurant this week.
“They’re all smart,” says Voight. “Z’s smart, they’re all smart I’ll tell you. Maddox, Pax, Z . I gotta get all their names, because you can’t cheat and I’m not going to. Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, they’re all very smart kids, beautiful too.”
Does he stay in touch? Kind of – the actor is still trying to wrap his head around Skype.
“I’m trying!” he says, “Maddox says ‘okay’ – he writes me back ‘okay’ and then I can’t get it, but I’ve been away for my computer so I couldn’t get back to him.”
The good news is Jon promises to visit his family soon.
Voight says he’s probably “going to see him” soon, and “what’s better than that?”
Do you Skype with your family and friends?
