Another TomKitten might be on it’s way soon Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are said to be thinking about trying for another kid. Katie is the one who is feeling the urge to have another little one because Suri is just growing up too fast!

“She said she’s got the itch,” said a friend close to the pair. “Now that Suri is more toddler than baby, she said she misses having an infant in the house. And, of course, she thinks Suri would make a great big sister.”

And Tom is in total agreement,

“He said if Katie wants to make another baby, she doesn’t have to ask twice,” said the pal of the power couple. “He always wanted more. It was Katie who has been holding off. Until now.”

I wonder if the second time around there would be less intrigue. Last time was so crazy with all these conspiracy theories flying around….was the baby Tom’s, was Katie really pregnant…the rumors were absolute INSANE. Maybe since they’ve already done this once, a second pregnancy wouldn’t create so much drama!

A smiling and happy Katie Holmes was photographed arriving at her hotel with her daughter Suri looking adorable as ever. Honestly I think Suri is one of the cutest babies in Hollywood and I love her little bare footsies. The pair obviously was in town for the fashion party of the year, but rumor has it Katie made it a business trip as well stopping over on Broadway for a secret meeting regarding a role in All My Sons.

Kate Bosworth, Katie Holmes, Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez were just some of the celebrities that attended the ‘Costume Institute Gala” held at the Metropolitian Museum of Art in NYC last night. Because there were SO MANY that attended I figured I’d break them up into groups. This being the fashion diva group and I’ll leave it up to you to decide who looks the best.

Wow. Tom Cruise laid it all out on the line with Oprah. I think he saw this as his chance to clear the air and tell his side of the story for all the bad press he’s been receiving lately. It’s long, so let’s just jump right in!

On the couch jumping incident:

“I just felt that way, and I feel that way about her. I can’t even articulate it, to be honest,” he adds. That feeling, that connection. Just who she is and what she means to me.”

He says that what he said about Brooke Shield’s post-partum depression “came out wrong,” and that the incident brought the two closer:

“What I regret is even discussing Brooke in any way.”

On Scientology:

“It’s a minority religion, and I think that sometimes people misinterpret [it]. I think the best thing is for people to read about it themselves. I believe people have the right to choose what they believe in. The code of Scientologists says you respect the religious beliefs of others. That’s part of being a Scientologist, and that’s who I am as a person.”

On the leaked video in which Tom talks about Scientology. He says it was stolen:

“I was receiving an award that evening for global literacy. It was a very private moment. I’m actually talking to my congregation. It’s [taken] totally out of context.”

On keeping Suri hidden for so long:

“We just want to have our baby, have the kids and everyone get to know Suri, get the family up here and just chill and have that time that you never get back. You don’t ever get those moments back. Kate and I didn’t feel any need to [rush] it. We said, ‘Why? It’s our family.’ We just were on Suri time.”

On his marriage to Katie being fake:

“That’s laughable to me. You just know that they’re trying to sell it and spin it.”

On his reputation:

“Listen I, I feel like definitely things have been misunderstood, and there are things I could have done better. But then there’s also that world where you go, ‘Oh, it’s been spun to such an extent that … that’s a truth also. Knowing when and where to communicate, I think that’s important. A lot of times I was nervous giving interviews. Or I wasn’t sometimes as comfortable about things. And I realized that it’s okay. There’s stuff you have to just let go. I just have to do the best I can.”

Do any of these quotes make you see Tom in a different light?

Katie Holmes has taken the tabloids’ accusations as fighting words. Cover after cover screaming about her marriage being over has started to get to her.

“Katie wishes she didn’t care about the gossip and rumors, but it is hard for her not to. She is such a sweet person and never has anything bad to say about anyone,” a friend tells OK!. “She doesn’t understand why some people are wishing problems on her and Tom.”

So she’s trying to deal with it in her own way.

“Her solution is to keep going about her life, business as usual. She’ll keep a smile on her face when she’s out in public with Tom and keep the hurt hidden at home.”

Katie certainly has had a lot to deal with these days.  It can’t be easy being married to one of the biggest super stars on the planet and living your life under a microscope.  Then to top it all off she has us all speculating about how long things will last.  I think any woman would struggle under those circumstances.

We saw the dramatic influx of stories that came in last week stating that Katie Holmes was finally going to leave Tom Cruise. Typically, this power couple doesn’t respond to such allegations. But I guess enough was enough! Their rep released the following statement.

“The allegations made by Star Magazine and In Touch are completely untrue. Tom and Katie have a strong and solid marriage. Both are supportive of each other personally and professionally. One only need look at the Internet to find numerous photos of them enjoying their time together.”

And so there you have it folks. Nothing is wrong. Just a typical marriage under the Hollywood lens.  Here are some new pictures of Katie hitting up a bank on Wilshire. Can you imagine punching in your code and seeing all those digits available to you in your savings account. Le Sigh. I think I would go to the bank every single day just to print out a summary receipt.

Katie Holmes really wants to move to New York with Suri for her upcoming role on Broadway.  But, it looks like Tom isn’t too happy about the idea.  Is anyone really surprised by this?  A source said,

“[Katie] desperately needs to be on her own for a while, but there’s no way Tom is going to let her take Suri away. There’s no way he’ll allow it. He just doesn’t want Katie — or Suri — out of his sight for long. He told her that if she goes to New York, fine, but he goes with her. Tom wants to call all the shots when it comes to Suri. He has a lot of rules, and there’s conflict.”

Tom just needs to learn how to give Katie a little space!  Apparently he’s never heard the saying, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.”
