So are you watching ‘Scandal’ this season? Olivia and Fitz are finally trying to make a go of their relationship! The star of the show, Kerry Washington, dished on everything from Olivia’s wardrobe (‘Scandal’ is worth watching just to check out Olivia’s clothes alone!) to how she finds out what’s going to happen next.
‘Scandal’ star Kerry Washington has been an advocate for domestic violence survivors for a while, yet even she had more to learn about the dynamics of domestic violence. One aspect that she recently learned about: the financial abuse that can help keep people trapped in domestic violence situations.
Kerry Washington is not just the star of ‘Scandal’; she’s also a quick-change artist! After appearing on ‘Good Morning America’ wearing a bright red dress, she changed into a LBD for her appearance on ‘Live With Kelly and Michael.’ She had to promote the season premiere of ‘Scandal’ in style, right? I’m going to talk about last night’s episode after the break, so if you have it saved on your DVR, then: SPOILER ALERT.
Here’s Kerry Washington, who stopped by ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ today. This is a BIG day for ‘Scandal’ fans: tonight is the season premiere! TV lovers are rejoicing this week between ‘Empire’s’ premiere last night and ‘Scandal’ tonight, not to mention the season premieres of ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ If I were Shonda Rhimes, I’d be popping Xanax right now or just flat-out hyperventilating- LOL.
Metallics and pantsuits (and even leggings) were also spotted on the 2015 Emmy Awards red carpet. ‘Scandal’ star Kerry Washington, Sofia Vergara, and ‘Mad Men’ star Christina Hendricks all sparkled in metallics. Meanwhile, ‘Orphan Black’ star Tatiana Maslany (who finally got nominated for an Emmy but didn’t win, unfortunately) and January Jones were chic in pantsuits. Check out these looks after the break!
Kerry Washington is going to take on an iconic role in HBO’s movie about Anita Hill. For those of you who aren’t quite sure who Anita Hill is, she’s the woman who accused Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment during his confirmation proceedings to become a Supreme Court Justice. That would explain HBO’s title for the project, which is ‘Confirmation.’
