NAOMI WATTS: How Did She Make Her First Move On Her Husband?

Naomi Watts has revealed she made the first move with long-term partner Liev Shreiber. The Diana star first met Schreiber back in 2005 and although she wouldn’t normally initiate a romance, she didn’t want him to get away so made the first move.

The actress told Allure, “It was a lot more ballsy than I would ever normally be. Normally I want a guy to make the first move, and he wasn’t. Then he got up to say he was leaving and I was like, ‘Oh s***. Probably another couple of years are going to pass by.’”

She continued, “I was wildly attracted to him and his work, so I said something cheeky as he was about to walk out. I said, ‘Don’t you want my digits?’ because I couldn’t possibly say ‘Would you like my phone number?’

“It made him laugh. He texted me five minutes later saying ‘Would you like to go for a drink now?’ and I said ‘No, I’ll meet you for breakfast tomorrow.'”

Liev Schreiber Heads To The Gym

Hey, when you’re in Hollywood it’s part of your job to look good! And that’s the reason why actor and Naomi Watt‘s husband Liev Schreiber was spotted hitting the gym while in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday afternoon.

We’re so used to seeing Naomi and Liev in New York City all the time, that it’s almost a surprise to see them on the West Coast. It’s like their a quintessential Big Apple family! But hey, it never hurts to enjoy a little California sunshine once in awhile, right?

Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber Ride The Waves

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber welcomed 2013 in style with a family vacation in St. Barts. Sounds like a great way to do it to me! Here are Naomi and Liev with their sons, Samuel and Alexander. They went on a New Year’s Day boat ride.

The water looks pretty active. It looks like they were riding the waves on that boat. I’m sure Alexander and Samuel loved it. After the hustle and bustle of Christmas, some relaxing time in St. Barts sounds perfect before Naomi and Liev go back to work and the kids go back to school.

Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber Have Fun In The Sun

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are in the most popular celebrity playground for the holidays: St. Barts. It looks like they got some time alone in the water before being joined by their two boys, Samuel and Alexander. There are certainly worse places and worse ways to spend the final leg of the holiday! Naomi looks great, as does Liev.

I wonder if Naomi and Liev are going to a party tonight or staying in with the kids. It doesn’t really matter when you’re in a place like St. Barts, does it? You’ll enjoy yourself regardless. What a great place to start the new year.

Naomi Watts On Why She Hasn’t Married Liev Schreiber

naomi watts dishes on marriage and family

Naomi Watts opened up about why she hasn’t married longtime partner Liev Schreiber. After all, they have two kids together! Naomi explained:

“We’re very much together. We just don’t have that certificate, and that’s okay with both of us. Maybe one day, we’ll just wake up and go ‘Hey, let’s do this.’ And maybe not.”

Naomi credits her family with helping her feel more balanced, despite not being legally married.

“There is less stress about work. I still care about it deeply, but I feel as if I care about other things more. I saw somebody today who I had not seen for ten years and they said that I didn’t seem so serious. They told me, ‘There’s a lightness about you now.’ And perhaps having a family has done that for me.

“Of course, I love my work and it’s a big part of my life, but I think I am able to compartmentalize now. A baby in my twenties? I don’t think I would have done that as well.”

Naomi sounds like she is happy, and that’s the important thing!
