MARION COTILLARD
Love It Or Hate It

Marion Cotillard stepped out for the Awards Ceremony at the 13th Marrakech International Film Festival. Check out the actress’ LBD for the event. What do you think of Marion’s dress? I like the stripes.

Otherwise, I have to say, this looks like a dress you pull out of the closet when you’re feeling bloated or something. But as I’ve said before, Marion does have a unique sense of style. I don’t mean that in a snarky way, either. It’s refreshing to see a different look on the red carpet! Marion’s look is different without being over-the-top or trashy or anything. I’ll always applaud that! But I’m not sure I would’ve chosen this dress for her.

Love It Or Hate It?

Marion Cotillard changed from her rainbow dress to this frock for her evening out in Marrakech. Dior hosted a dinner during the 13th Marrakech International Film Festival. I’ve always said Marion is one of the most interesting celebs to watch at formal events because of her outfits. Check out her frock here.

The skirt is what makes you do a double-take. I can’t make up my mind about it. At first, I admit, it didn’t do much for me. Then I warmed up to the top, but the skirt still isn’t working for me. Something tells me if I look at Marion’s dress a little longer, though, then it will grow on me. If nothing else, it’s a fashion-forward, daring dress! I’ve gotta ask…

Rocking A Rainbow Dress In Marrakech

Marion Cotillard is fun to watch on the red carpet. She has an eye for the unusual for her style choices. Here’s Marion at the 13th Marrakesh International Film Festival with famous director Martin Scorcese. Her dress here isn’t terribly unusual, but it is eye-catching. It looks like she’s wearing a rainbow!

I like this dress. It works, I think, because the colors aren’t very bright. A bunch of bright colors might look a bit too theatrical or just tacky. What do you think of Marion’s “rainbow dress”?

We’ve been showing you pictures from Elle’s Women in Hollywood issue for their November edition. Last night they held a party with many of the women featured in attendance. Reese Witherspoon looked pretty in her simple dress in a bright color. Melissa McCarthy was chic in black and white. LOVE that short white jacket she’s wearing!

Marion Cotillard wore an eye-catching billowy dress. What do you think of it? It would be great for a day when you’re feeling bloated, but Marion is NOT “bloated” by anyone’s definition! ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele gave you a peek at her taunt abs in her dress. Are you a fan of these red carpet looks? I’m loving the variety in styles!

Elle is celebrating actresses with their Women in Hollywood for its November issue! Elle is “honoring women who have made extraordinary contributions to the film industry” this year. Three of the women they selected are Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, and Naomie Harris. They’re wearing The Row, Dior, and the Calvin Klein Collection, and all of them opened up about their experiences about being a women in Hollywood.

Penelope reflected on her status as a movie star: “The concept of a ‘star’ will always sound foreign and surreal to me because growing up in my country, you’re an actor, not a star.”

Marion on why she became an actress: “When I was a kid, I started to have a lot of questions about human beings, and I was a troubled child because of all of these questions. I guess that’s why I became an actress. Not only because my parents were actors and, yeah, it’s a beautiful thing to tell stories, but I think I became an actress because I wanted to explore this- to explore what a human being is.”

Naomie opened up about standing up for herself on set: “On my first film, I played a stowaway on a ship heading to Germany, and the director told me I was going to be thrown into the sea. But he didn’t have any stunt coordinators! I told him I would agree to be pushed over the side, but only if I could watch him getting pushed over first. Both of us stayed dry.”

You can read more of what each of these amazing women had to say, as well as other women Elle selected to honor, in their November issue. It hits newsstands on October 22. I’m checking it out!

MARION COTILLARD AND JEREMY RENNER
Walk The Red Carpet At Cannes

The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival - 'The Immigrant' Premiere

Another day another red carpet!  This time Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Renner walked the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of their movie ‘The Immigrant’. Marion looked stunning as usual in her white Dior silk crepe long-sleeve gown while new dad Renner looked handsome in his tux.

Looks like Marion is still having a hard time with her eyes watering.  The actress was seen at the photocall earlier today wiping tears from her eyes, and it seems she’s still having the same issue.  Maybe it’s all the cameras that are making her eyes water?  Either way she looks great, and I’ve heard some amazing early reviews about ‘The Immigrant’.

Check Out The BAFTA Beauties

BAFTAs Pressroom

While we here in the United States were watching the usual spectacle that is the Grammy Awards, England was having their version of the Academy Awards: the BAFTA Awards! It must’ve been too chilly for Jennifer Lawrence to bear stepping outside sleeveless. She covered up her beaded gown with a coat before getting inside. It’s too bad she didn’t have a wrap or something, but Jennifer is recovering from walking pneumonia, so she’s earned her fashion pass. Jessica Chastain looked gorgeous in this fitted gown, didn’t she?

Dame Helen Mirren decided to have some fashion fun for the event. Check out the pink hair: love it! Amy Adams went for a more risque look with a plunging neckline and high slit up the front of her skirt. Marion Cotillard popped in her gown. Sarah Jessica Parker kept things simple in a chic pantsuit. I love all of these looks! How about you?
