Quentin Tarantino is NOT Your Slave (Video)

quentin tarantino interview

One thing is clear from this interview: Quentin Tarantino has had ENOUGH of being asked about the relationship between violence in the media and real-life violence. The ‘Django Unchained‘ director, who’s known for his exceptionally violence movies, went off on British reporter Krishnan Guru-Murthy in this interview when he was asked about the subject. Quentin initially refused to answer. When Krishnan pressed the subject, Quentin got really upset, at one point telling the interviewer, “I’m not your slave!” He obviously has decided he’s not talking about this topic anymore.

You can watch the interview below. The tension starts at about the 4:30 mark. Do you think Quentin over-reacted, given all the violence that’s been happening over the last few months in the United States, or did the interviewer just go too far?

Django Unchained Premieres In London

Wow, Kerry Washington is absolutely stunning on the red carpet at the London premiere of Django Unchained don’t you think?  Look how amazing that dress is!  Kerry wore a white dress by Giles that features a horse print skirt and a beautiful hemline.  She looks absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to see what she’ll wear to the Academy Awards.

Joining Kerry on the carpet was co-stars Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz (who I’m sure was celebrating his own Oscar nom today) and director Quentin Tarantino.   Django Unchained earned 4 Oscar nominations today, including Best Picture.  I guess I need to get out there and see this movie!

Jamie Foxx Makes ‘Django Unchained’ Berlin Premiere Fun

We know Jamie Foxx likes to goof off in the red carpet. This was clear at the beginning of the ‘Django Unchained‘ tour, when Jamie locked lips with co-star Samuel L. Jackson at the New York City photocall. Now here’s Jamie teasing his leading lady, Kerry Washington, on the red carpet.  Kerry looks like she wasn’t quite sure what to do before having fun with it herself. Really, what else can you do in a situation like that?

I’m sure it’s all meant in good fun. Even something like walking the red carpet has to get a little dull after a while! This is the ‘Django Unchained’ premiere in Berlin. How many premieres does this make? Quentin Tarantino decided to have a little fun with his wardrobe again. Check out the sleeve to his jacket. Samuel L. Jackson opted for some chic shoes. I wonder how many more premieres they have?

‘Django Unchained’ Hits Paris!

‘Django Unchained’ has been introduced to the City of Lights! I wonder what the Parisians make of Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti western-style mashups? Quentin went with a very French look for the premiere. Check out the beret with that jacket! Jamie Foxx kept his look simple yet chic with a black suit.

Kerry Washington went with a pretty print strapless dress. It’s probably smart not to get too experimental in one of the fashion capitals of the world! Samuel L. Jackson traded in the leather jacket for a blazer, but he looks great no matter what he wears. And Christoph Waltz kept it simple with a gray suit. Everybody’s looking great!

‘Django Unchained’ Guys Work The Red Carpet In Style

The men of ‘Django Unchained‘ certainly have style! Check them out at the premiere in Rome. Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz both opted for blue suits. Don’t they both look great? Samuel L. Jackson skipped the suit for plaid pants, a leather jacket, and a sweater. I’m loving the scarves and cap he wore. Director Quentin Tarantino played it safe with black with just a touch of chic with the silk lapels.

These guys weren’t going to be outshone by Kerry Washington at the premiere! Everyone (including Kerry) looked fantastic. Can’t wait to the see the red carpet looks at the next European premiere.

Men Of ‘Django Unchained’ Strike Poses For The Camera

django unchained rome photocall

Django Unchained‘ is opening across Europe. Quentin Tarantino looks like he belongs in front of the camera, the way he’s posing at the photocall in Rome. You can tell he’s a director; he knows how to make the shot interesting – LOL. Quentin, the star of the movie, Jamie Foxx, and Franco Nero  had fun posing together. Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson, who were both amazing in the movie,  were also at the photocall.

Have you had a chance to see the movie ‘Django Unchained’? I finally got to see it last weekend. I was a little worried because Tarantino movies can be SO gory, but it didn’t overwhelm me. It was brutal, of course, but there was plenty of humor as well. Best of all: there was redemption and a (mostly) happy ending. I’d definitely recommend it! If you’ve seen it, did you like it?
