The 2015 Billboard Music Awards might have needed a subtitle of “featuring Taylor Swift” or something like that, but there’s no question Jennifer Lopez wasn’t lacking for attention herself. You know she turned heads in this sheer dress on the red carpet last night. Ay, mami!
Actress Zendaya Coleman attended two major events this past weekend: the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards and then the iHeartRadio Music Awards. After the furor that her dreadlocks caused on ‘Fashion Police’ last month, you know everyone was checking out her hair. She didn’t disappoint, sporting two very different hairstyles. And for people who had something to say about that, Zendaya had a message for them.
Last night was the iHeartRadio Music Awards! Taylor Swift had a big night: she took home three statuettes, including the big prize of Artist of the Year. She had stiff competition from Iggy Azalea, Luke Bryan, Ariana Grande, and Sam Smith. Taylor’s won so many awards over the years: I don’t know where she’ll find room for more awards ;). Check out the complete winners list after the break as well as our gallery of the red carpet.
Last night was the 26th Annual GLAAD Media Awards! ‘Scandal‘ star Kerry Washington, along with mega-producer Shonda Rhimes and ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ star Viola Davis, attended the event, along with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum were also on hand for the big night. Check out our gallery of attendees after the break! So by now you’ve seen all the red carpet photos from the 2015 Academy Awards. If there was a trend on the red carpet last night, it was BEADS. Beaded gowns were big, from Jennifer Aniston’s nude-colored frock to 2014 Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o literally in pearls. RELATED: Get Lupita Nyong’o’s look for the 2015 SAG Awards.
I think it’s safe to say there was no one “look” at the 2015 Academy Awards for the red carpet. Red seemed to be the color of the evening; otherwise, most celebs went glam in neutral colors. I, for one, LOVED Kerry Washington’s gown. She said she channeled a little bit of her ‘Scandal’ character, Olivia Pope, when selecting the champagne color for her gown. Stunning! MANY people were talking about Madonna’s outfit last night. Last year she wore a pantsuit; this year, as you can see, she went in a very different direction, showing that she can still rock the red carpet.
