Simon Cowell & Jada Pinkett Smith Are Looking For DJs

Now this is a pairing I wouldn’t have guessed was in the works! ‘X Factor’ executive producer and judge Simon Cowell is teaming up with Jada Pinkett Smith for an international reality TV show that looks for… DJs. Simon announced it on twitter:

Excited to announce new DJ show. I will NOT be judging this show. Excited to be working with @jadapsmith. Stay tuned!

A search for the next big DJ. Hmmm… it’s hard for me to appreciate this because I was never into the club scene, but it could be interesting to watch. Are you going to keep an eye out for this show?

Simon Cowell Admits He & Fiancee Are Not Together

I guess this isn’t actually surprising after the pictures of ‘X Factor’ judge Simon Cowell vacationing with another woman, but Simon has now publicly admitted that he and fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy are not together. For the most part.

“It’s quite a complicated relationship. We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredibly close. I’m vulnerable. It’s not on, it’s not off, it’s somewhere in the middle. I don’t know if I will ever get married, but I am happy.”

Hmmm… Well, it’s better to slow down rather than push through with a wedding and getting married if you aren’t sure about the relationship, don’t you think?

Simon Cowell Vacations With Zeta Graff

Simon Cowell is clearly enjoying his time off after completing his first season of the US version of ‘X Factor.’ Here he is lounging on a yacht in the waters of St. Barths with British actress Zeta Graff.

This all looks fine except… where’s Simon’s fiancee, Mezhgan Hussainy? There’s been no official word that the engagement was called off, but Simon’s friends are referring to Zeta as Simon’s “date” for the two-week vacation.

I guess we’re supposed to make our own assumptions with this one.

Simon Cowell Jet-Skis His Way Into The New Year

Simon Cowell is certainly loving his holiday in the sun! The X-Factor judge was spotted in Barbados on New Year’s Day, where he not only caught some rays on the beach, but jet-skied around the water on Sunday afternoon.

With season one champ Melanie Amaro’s debut disk set to hit stores, as well as a new season of The X-Factor on the way, I think 2012 could be another big year for Simon!

Simon Cowell Attends A Fundraiser While On Vacation

While he enjoys his tropical holiday, ‘X-Factor’ star Simon Cowell is also giving back.  The good guy was spotted attending and helping out a casual fundraiser for The Hope Sanctuary.

Also in attendance was Simon’s mother, Lizzie Cundy, and singer Sinitta.  It looks like Simon did a little announcing and from the looks of this first photo – a little bidding, as well!

Simon Cowell Poses With Fans In Barbados

Simon Cowell is definitely enjoying his Christmas holidays in Barbados. The X-Factor judge was spotted enjoying another day on the water jet skiing.

After coming back to shore the music superstar stopped to pose for pictures with a group of fans that spotted him. He certainly didn’t seem to mind all the attention.

Are you looking forward to another season of X-Factor? I have to admit I didn’t love it this year, but I’m looking forward to seeing if they’ll make it better in season 2.

Simon Cowell Vows Next Season Of ‘X Factor’ Will Be A “Bloodbath”

Most new shows would be thrilled with the ratings that the first season of the US version of ‘X Factor’ brought in, but after the mega-success of ‘American Idol,’ Simon Cowell is already envisioning ways to tweak things for season two to make ‘X Factor’ even bigger.

“Can we make the show better? Yes. I will never ever go into anything going forward unless I can believe I can make it better.

“Next year will be a bloodbath. We have to come out with something better than the rest, and that’s what we aim to do.”

Simon said he plans to sit down with the people behind the UK version of ‘X Factor’ to think of ways to change things up. One thing that may go? The big production numbers. And perhaps a judge or two (although I thought LA Reid was as good of a mentor as Simon).
