Posting in Groups

Here's some info on posting to Groups, which anyone can do!

If you go to any Group page and look at the right (inner) sidebar, you'll see additional info on the Group you're in (for example, see the pic). The links in that Block will allow you to post a "Group Post" to the whole Group, just like this one!  You can also create a Poll for your Group, or invite a friend to join.

Note that you can also comment on Group Posts.  So a Group Post is like a "Story" on the main site, and a comment is, well, a comment.  Did we mention that any INO member can start their own Group?  Well, it's true!  When you start a Group it's like having your own little microcosm of INO, with its own members, posts, comments, polls and pictures.

Give it a go.  We're all friends here!

Lauren Graham Walking In Manhattan

The gorgeous Lauren Graham was spotted walking with a male friend and child through mid-town Manhattan yesterday. Not sure if he's family, or what but doesn't Lauren look great? Anyone else desperately miss, The Gilmore Girls? :)

Lindsay Lohan Working Hard On Labor Pains

Lindsay Lohan Working Hard On Labor Pains

Lindsay Lohan was spotted catching a quick bite to eat in between takes on set of Labor Pains in a cute purple dress and heels. I'm guessing that was a wardrobe person's decision, not hers...even though she looks adorable, it doesn't really seem like Lindsay's style, right?

INO Exclusive: Let's Go Shopping With Katy Perry

INO Exclusive: Let's Go Shopping With Katy Perry

One of my fashion writers had the chance to peek into the stores and accessories that have taken Katy Perry from trendy to trendsetter. Here is Elyn's review:

---

By now most people have heard of Katy Perry, the super-hot singer/songwriter/musician currently co-headlining the Warped Tour, who's single hit I Kissed a Girl is #1 on iTunes and the Billboard Hot 100 and whose fantastically fun new album One of the Boys is this summers break out hit ... oh, and lets not forget the amazing shout-out she got from Madonna live on the radio!

But what most people don't know about Katy is how cool her style is!  With her Lolita meets Joan Jett stylish mix of vintage & sunburst colors she's setting new trends daily & I wanted to let INO readers in on her secrets, so I picked Katy's brain and took a peek into her closet to find out her favorite SECRET spots to shop:

First up is Pop Killer, where all the cute Japanese girls & true Harijuku lovers shop in LA.  It's filled with cool vintage pieces, interesting accessories -- their 'brick' old-school cell phone bag is an absolute must-have! -- &, best of all it's open until midnight!

Next on her go-to list is Shareens Vintage which has racks of amazing one-of-a -kind vintage and re-worked dresses ... & to keep shoppers focused, there are no men allowed!  If you're in LA you MUST check it out ... and, unlike most vintage stores, you CAN purchase online via their brand new eBay store (go their website which links you directly)!!!

And her final insider tip is Coquette. As Katy told MySpace,

"This is where I come when I need something that's going to blow everyone away... It's where all the stars go to get styled."

And she's right!  Everyone from the Olsen's to P. Diddy have been seen in their vintage couture outfits. And while they don't have an online shop per-se, if you see something you like on the web-site or have a certain outfit in mind, use the contact form & they will do their best to track it down & send it to you.

And if you'd like to sample Katy's look without spending too much, just follow her 5 fashion must-haves & you can snag her style at a store near you:

- Anything with fruit
- Neon, neon, neon
- Onesies
- Big bows
- Strapless dresses

To check out her music, go to Katy Perry and for her blogs, interviews, videos & tour dates check out Katy's MySpace.

Get Smart In Rome And Mamma Mia In Australia

Get Smart In Rome And Mamma Mia In Australia

Over the holiday weekend there wasn't too much going on, but now Hollywood actors and actresses are back in full swing. Last night Anne Hathaway stunned again on the red carpet at the Get Smart premiere in Rome, while Meryl Streep (LOVE that purple coat!) was busy working it down under at a photo call for Mamma Mia in Sydney.

And let's not forget the man candy. :) The Rock, Dominic Cooper, Steve Carell and Colin Firth weren't look too shabby...

At one point Steve even saved the day for Anne. Personal questions were strictly forbidden, but one reporter took a stab and asked her about her ex boyfriend. Anne got awkwardly silent and Steven jumped in, joking,

"In my role of agent [for] Miss Hathaway, I would like to say that she does not answer questions relating to this subject."

Take Part In INO's Summer Survey

Take Part In INO's Summer Survey

Who is the hottest couple of the season? What about the must have accessory? Are gladiator sandals the trend of the year? Or is it the summer scarf? Have your vote counted in INO's Summer survey!

It's not all about hot beach bods and celebrity moms to be. This is a survey with a cause! INO will donate $1 for every completed entry to Tupperware's Chain of Confidence initiative. SO, by taking a few minutes out of your day to have a little fun, you will be contributing much deserved funds to Camp Confidence

As you know, it's just little old me owning this site. I'm not a huge corporation, so I have to max the donation at $2,500. But that means that 2,500 people will have to take the survey. I hope you are one of them.

Survey will run for 7 days and then I will publish the results for all to see.
