Jennifer Lopez Struggled To Get Pregnant

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony badly wanted children, but they couldn't figure out why it wasn't happening. In a new interview with Elle Magazine, Jen opens up about her journey to become pregnant.

“We knew nothing was wrong with either one of us—I had been checked, and he had kids already. I knew Something’s not ready here, in my head or in my life, and when it is, I know it’s going to happen.”

And when she finally did become pregnant, she didn't need a test to tell her what she already knew.

“I was sitting down doing hair and makeup and I felt a flutter," Jennifer says. "The weirdest little… flourish. My makeup artist said ‘What’s the matter?’ I didn’t say anything, but in my head, I was like, I have life inside me!”

When little Max and Emme were born J-Lo and Marc could not have been happier!

“I was like, How am I going to rock this moment of my life?..." she says of the book of photos. "I felt very womanly. Marc was in a dream. He loved it.”

Jennifer Lopez Looking To Hire Full Time Nanny

It's back to work for Jennifer Lopez! The singer/dancer/actress has confirmed that she is due on set later this year and is beginning to filter through nannies and find the perfect one for her twins, Max and Emme.

"We actually just tried somebody (a nanny) out last week… it was her first day because I’m going back to work to do a film later in the year so we’re trying to find somebody - but we’ve been doing it by ourselves and we love it."

Jennifer Lopez Producing Maid In Manhattan For TV

Anyone out there who loved the movie Maid in Manhattan starring Jennifer Lopez? Well then, get excited! She's taking the hit film to the small screen...there's just one catch...J-Lo won't be starring, just producing. A writer for the new series says,

"The show is a different maid in a different Manhattan. She (Lopez) will be very integral in the pilot and series."

I hope that J-Lo is a producer along the lines of what Salma Hayek is to Ugly Betty so we can get lots of guest appearances. :) Will any of you watch this new show?

Marc Anthony Is On Daddy Duty For The Night Shift

Marc Anthony admitted that Jennifer Lopez makes him get up in the middle of the night if the twins are in need. No complaints here because the singer is more than happy to do it!

"Jennifer pushes me out of bed to go and check on the twins if they are crying. Absolutely. We share the parenting responsibilities. We are a team. I love being a dad and that is a big part of it. My family is strong and my foundations are good and they give me so much energy. So I have energy to look after them and energy to work. I am on top of the world right now."

Sounds like a great team! I wonder if he sings them to sleep. Oh how I love that man's music!

Jennifer Lopez Doing Triathalon

Jennifer Lopez is one of those people that does everything all the way. She gets pregnant...she has twins, she wants to get back in shape...she does a triathalon. Yes, you read that right. As if having a clothing line, being a singer/actress and a mother/wife weren't enough for J-Lo, she's decided she's going to run a triathalon! Her trainer said,

“The workouts change daily, depending on the day, the time and the freedom,” he says. “She’s going to get it done because she wants to.”

She'll be doing the race in the fall. But he says, even a triathalon isn't enough to stress super-mom, J-Lo.

"She may be the most efficient multitasker I know. She literally has every aspect of her life in check,” he says. “She doesn’t have a nanny, a chef or a nutritionist. She makes time for the kids. Family comes first.”

I'll admit, I'm totally amazed.
