Well, if this isn't the best Amy Winehouse has ever looked...
Check out the waxwork those geniuses at Madame Tussauds museum created to represent Amy. I mean, is that unbelievable or what? I'm half waiting for this statue to come to life and start running around. Perfection!

Blake Fielder-Civil was just sentenced for 27 months in prison after a violent incident last year. After he was charged he then tried to fix the trial.
Fielder-Civil and friend Michael Brown beat James King, 36, so badly in June 2006 that he needed plates fitted into his face for a broken cheekbone and still has counselling.
But, get this. Blake tried to use Amy Winehouse's fame to get him out of jail. His lawyer told the court,
Knowing the nation's glare is upon him, Mr Fielder-Civil has every possible motive to rehabilitate himself in the way he has already shown he is fully committed to doing. He knows if he fails, an appointment with calamity awaits, not just for himself but for his wife.
He can now see that hard drugs are to be regarded as nothing other than a smiling assassin. He wishes now to become a role model for Miss Winehouse but he knows it would be impossible for her to alienate herself from drugs if he continues to befriend them.
So what is the justice system like in England? Does anyone know if this means Blake will for sure serve the 27th months or can he get out early for good behavior or "overcrowding" like in the U.S.?

How terribly sad to have to think of your daughter in terms of what kind of death you think she's going to die. Amy Winehouse's dad, who seems to have a very open relationship with the British media, has been quoted as saying he doesn't think that Amy will die from an overdose. Instead he thinks she could die a "slow and painful death."
"She won't die of a drug overdose, it won't be that quick," he told Sky News television Saturday, according to BBC News. "She would die, unfortunately, of emphysema. That would be the most likely scenario if she didn't check her behavior, which she is doing."
Her father also added that he's nervous for when Blake Fielder-Civil gets out of jail.
"If he comes out and they go back to doing what they were doing before, she's going to have a serious health problem," he said.
"He's a fit young man, he could probably carry on like this for the rest of his life. Amy can't and he has to understand that," Mitch added.
Let's just hope that when Blake gets out of jail Amy is more inspired than ever before to try and leave her life clean.
And meanwhile, Jay-Z gave a funny quote about Amy Winehouse recently. He said she's like a Weeble!
"She’s like that toy from the Eighties, the Weeble."
"They had an ad campaign that went, 'Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.' Well, that’s Amy," he told Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper."You always think she’s going to collapse but she always gets back up again."

Amy Winehouse has hit a third fan, this time apparently for no reason. The Rehab hitmaker allegedly assaulted Wayne Lindsay after downing shots of alcohol in the Dublin Castle public house in Camden on Saturday night. Lindsay, 29, says he was standing behind the singer when she hit him three times.
"There was no obvious reason for her flying off the handle. But she clearly thought I had done something. "She was wild. She just flipped. It was if she had voices in her head."
I'm so jaded. I feel like he did something to her. She is being poked and prodded from every angle in hopes that she will respond. Amy is crazy. But she doesn't just lash out and beat people for no reason. We've been following her long enough to know that.

Amy Winehouse hit a male fan over the weekend because he pinched her behind when she was turned around. Can't say I blame her.
The fan was unaffected by the punch. It probably added more to the story he was going to tell his friends when he got home anyway. UGH!
"Amy had her bottom pinched and blamed the fan taking her picture. "She just lashed out and clumped him. He laughed it off."

It's official. Amy Winehouse is on lock down. Her recording label has finally put their collective foot down and hired security to keep Amy at home and sober. Has Island Records gone too far? Or are they the first people to do something right?
"Effectively, Amy’s been put under house arrest. She is being monitored by 24/7 surveillance to make sure she’s behaving herself and keeping out of harm’s way.
"There is also a security guard stationed outside her house around the clock to vet any undesirables. From now on, there’ll be no more waifs and strays (random people) coming into her place, wreaking havoc.
"Crucially, they don’t want known drug dealers coming anywhere near her. Amy has to give them names of people expected. Anyone who turns up uninvited will be sent packing. It’s for her own good."

As I was purchasing these pictures, I was assuming this was Amy Winehouse filming a video for a new song release. Then when I read the caption, I couldn't believe this set is just another day in Amy's life. She was signing autographs for fans, the paparazzi became overbearing, she started to try to outrun them and then eventually hopped in a car that she stopped from the street.
I would love to see the video of this. If anyone finds it online, please post.

I was really hoping that Amy Winehouse would stay in the hospital for a while and really get herself back on track but after just 10 days, she's been released. She had been leaving the facility only for performances during that time. Amy's rep, Chris Goodman said,
"She has left [the] hospital. She is continuing as an outpatient. "She will return for regular appointments for check[-up]s," said Goodman.
He adds, "There comes a time when you are ready to leave the hospital, and so she left. No one was trying to keep her there. It was completely up to her – everyone knew she would not stay there forever."
He also mentioned that she's "looking great and feeling great."
In the picture she's going for a late night walk after stopping at a "chip shop." In all the pictures she's seen carrying an inhaler and an ace of hearts from a deck of playing cards. She asked photographers to publish pictures of the ace of hearts so her husband in jail would see it.

Police are saying that Amy Winehouse was provoked during her performance at U.K.’s Glastonbury festival therefore no arrests will be made over the incident. Even Amy's publicist claims that the fan struck first.
"The ‘lashing out’ was when someone tried to grab her hair and she reacted."
I found the video, but you can barely see what happens before Amy takes a swing.

This isn't the first time Amy Winehouse was offered a book deal. In fact, sources say she constantly turns them down one after the other. Why? Because Amy feels she is too young to write her life story. Makes sense I suppose. I'm just fearful about how long this soulful singer has left to live. She can't seem to shake her demons... no matter how much the people around her are rooting for her to do so.
"Amy’s been battling off book deals for over a year, but the latest offer would have earned her millions. But she thought the idea was ludicrous and turned it down outright. Firstly, she feels she’s far too young at 24 and secondly, when she does get round to publishing her life story, she wants to write it herself. She doesn’t need a ghost writer."
This next quote is from her Rolling Stones interview and is quite sad. Amy says she has nothing to live for.
"To be honest, my husband’s away, I’m bored, I’m young. I felt like there was nothing to live for. It’s just been a low ebb."
"I’ve never been to rehab, I mean, done it properly. I’m young, and I’m in love, and I get my nuts off sometimes. But it’s never been like, ‘Amy, get your life together.’"
