Salma Hayek Sued By Former Business Partner

Salma Hayek and her brother Sami are in a legal battle with a former employee after a business venture went bad. Alejandro Artigas is suing the siblings after being let go. He is accusing Salma of "wrongfully seeking his removal" as well as "fraud, mismanagement, and/or abuse of authority".

Sami Hayek has responded to the suit, with his lawyer, Bob Weiss, telling TMZ.com,

"It was an investment deal that was no good for anyone, and we’ll fight the lawsuit vigorously."

Oh, and Javier Bardem was there too. That's so much hotness in one room, I'm surprised the place didn't catch on fire. Too cheesy? Ok, I'll stop. :P

Salma Hayek and Valentina were photographed shopping in Beverly Hills sans stroller. I can barely carry my kid next door to my neighbor's house when I head over for a play date. Forget about a full day out looking for retail therapy!

Valentina looked simply darling in her pink dress with matching clip. Looks like she is very curious about her mother's admirers.

So much for that $3.5 million wedding rumor. Salma Hayek's rep has announced that her engagement to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault is off.

"We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled. There will be no further comment."

Salma Hayek, along with several family members, took 10-month-old baby daughter Valentina to lunch at Taverna Tony's Restaurant in Malibu over the weekend.

Pampers, a ton of pacifiers and a bottle of water. Sounds about right. All we are missing is the small container of goldfish or Cheerios and a rattle toy which I am sure are stashed away in Salma's diaper bag.

Yes, the amount is excessive. But IS IT when your husband-to-be is a billionaire? Who's looking at price tags when you have all those zeros at the end of your bank account statement?

Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault are planning a spring wedding and reports are claiming that they couple is spending an estimated $3.5 million. Sources tell the National Enquirer that the 46-year-old French boss of fashion houses Gucci, Yves St. Laurent and Balenciaga will dig deep for a five-day-long wedding ceremony in St. Tropez, France.

"It took Francois over a year to get Salma to agree to marry him, and he doesn’t want to spare any expense. Francois basically gave her the key to the vault and said, ‘Go wild.’"

Imagine someone handing you a credit card and telling you to "Go Wild". I don't know what I would do. So dangerous!

The tabloid claims the pair will fly their friends in on private jets; put them up in luxury resorts; spend $500,000 on a wedding dress and almost $1 million on flowers.

Salma Hayek indulged in a day a retail therapy. She disappeared into Fred Segal on Melrose and later emerged with 2 large shopping bags. I wonder what she bought. I’m always curious as to what celebrities splurge on when they go shopping.

It feels like just yesterday Salma had that beautiful baby girl of hers and now she’s already back to her svelte body. Look at her tiny waist and lean legs! She must have worked her buns off to get in shape that fast. What a knock-out!

Salma Hayek was all smiles as she arrived to the Cannes Film Festival premiere of the highly anticipated, Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I loved Salma's green gown and I think she looked superb. What do you all think of it? Anyone else as excited about this movie as I am? I admit I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan, not to mention Shia LeBeouf. ;)

Seeing Salma Hayek out with her daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault is like eating something you rarely do but love. Such a treat! A lot of the other celebrity babies are constantly photographed and while it's always nice to see their dimpled cheeks, you take it for granted. Valentina is rarely seen out so what a pleasure to find her as adorable as ever. Here she is with her mother at LAX.
