Robert Buckley, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Molly Sims and Leighton Meester were front row for the Julie Jaus show kicking off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2009 in NYC. Woo hoo! I can't wait. I hope it doesn't get rained out.

The girls all went for very bright and summery dresses. They couldn't have planned it better if they tried.

Gossip Girls Invade 30 Rock

Ok seriously... who did 30 Rock hire in casting? Because they seriously deserve a raise. I can't take anymore good news about this sitcom. My head is just about ready to explode.

This week, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively both grace the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s Fall TV Preview, and they’re also telling us that they’ve closed a deal to guest star in a November sweeps episode of NBC’s increasingly stunt-happy 30 Rock.

The Gossip Girl frenemies will play former high school classmates of Liz Lemon’s in a flashback sequence that will reveal a shocking and deeply ironic truth about Tina Fey’s morally superior alter ego: she was a Mean Girl!

Leighton Meester Was Born In Prison

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester was born behind prison bars according to Star Magazine.

In the Sept. 15 issue of Star, on sale Wednesday, we reveal that Leighton Meester, who plays the privileged Blair Waldorf in the hot TV series, was born while her mother was serving a federal prison sentence in Texas. The mom was allowed to stay in a halfway house for the birth, but had to return to prison on the day Leighton turned three months. The future star was raised by a relative while mom served out her sentence for her role in a major drug-running ring.

I wasn't going to write this story as I didn't believe the rag, but then someone from ONTD posted Leighton's mother's release date and the numbers match up.

Leighton was born April 9th 1986 and her mother was released from prison on November 20th 1986. Wow! Leighton has had some life. Not only has her mother spent time behind bars, but so has her father, her grandfather and her aunt (who is infamous so I hear). All counts involved drug dealing.

Gossip Girl Cast Filming Scenes

Blake Lively, Kelly Rutherford and Leighton Meester were spotted filming scenes Monday afternoon in Brooklyn Heights, NY for upcoming episodes of 'Gossip Girl'. I never got into the show but I know INO has a lot of Gossip Girl fans. I love their wardrobes, especially Leighton and Blake's characters, they usually have the most adorable outfits.

HEY NOW! We are so used to seeing America Ferrera in her Ugly Betty get up that it's almost shocking to see her on the red carpet. But she proved she can glam up with the best of them for the premiere of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. And fittingly a lot of the cast of Ugly Betty were there to support her. Blake Lively also stars in the movie so most of the cast of Gossip Girl was there too!
