I would buy tickets today to see the new Sherlock Holmes now that I found out Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen have been cast as the fictional detectives. It's already funny and it hasn't even been shot yet!

Ali G funnyman Cohen will play the pipe-smoking sleuth, with Ferrell as his partner Watson in the as-yet-untitled film. Matt Tolmach, co-president of production for Columbia Pictures, tells Variety.com,

"Just the idea of Sacha and Will as Sherlock Holmes and Watson makes us laugh. Sacha and Will are two of the funniest and most talented guys on the planet, and having them take on these two iconic characters is frankly hilarious."

Will Ferrell Filming "Land of the Lost"

Funny man Will Ferrell was photographed while filming "Land of the Lost". His new movie about being lost in the land of dinosaurs with his two children. I can. not. wait for this movie to come out. The original came out in 1974 and I hope they manage to make this one just as good. Anna Friel from "Pushing Daisies" will also be in it. :) Anyone else excited?

Forget going to a night club, LAX is the place to be right now :) Joel Madden and Ali Larter were photographed arriving at the airport and it looks like Will Ferrell was dropping family off.

Will Ferrell Is Having A Boy... And I Want A Blackberry

The same day that Britney Spears made her appearance on The David Letterman Show, Will Ferrell admitted that he knows the gender of his soon-to-be baby. It's a boy! This will be his second son. Will's first son is named Magnus. I wonder what he is going to name the second one.

"You know, I don't know if we do. I've gotta check my Blackberry." He then explained, "Well, we do know, but I forget if we're telling people. I told the Today show we weren't telling them. But it's a boy!" (source)

The Blackberry thing is making me crazy. More and more people are sending me emails and the tag line is "Sent via Blackberry". It is especially hard being friends with Danielle over at CBB because that is the only way she communicates with me. It drives me wild! My birthday is Friday and I think I want one as my present. I can't stand it anymore.

I think this is a funny story. Will Ferrell was quoted in Total Film magazine saying he doesn't get enough press for his level of celebrity. Come to think of it... I never write about him or see any pictures taken from paparazzi. I'll try harder Will... I promise.

They don't care about me. Not in America, at least. But a weird thing happened in London, last year. I was strolling around with my wife and child. We were curious to see if anyone would notice or even care that I was there. Suddenly, this photographer just kind of materialized and went 'click'. Then he ran away." Ferrell admits he even called after him saying: "Hey! It's okay! Make me more famous!" He adds, "It was just one guy. I was appalled and insulted. I wanted to know where the others were hiding."
