Tara Reid Talks About Engagement And Good Fortunes
Tara Reid was out last night, attending the We.The. Children. Project benefit at the House of Blues in Hollywood. She took a few minutes to gush about getting engaged to boyfriend of 10 months, Michael Axtmann.
"He asked me at the Little Door and he gave me a fortune cookie, And I opened up the fortune cookie. It said 'Tara, will you marry me?' Obviously I said yes. I was very surprised."
She also shared that the couple isn't rushing to make wedding plans just yet.
"No, we just started," she said. "We're still enjoying the engagement. Life's pretty good right now."
Tara has 3 upcoming projects in the works: 2 films that are finished and one in that's scheduled to start soon.
1. Land of Canaan (2010) (pre-production) .... Amy
2. The Fields (2011) (post-production) .... Bonnie
3. Last Call (2010) (post-production) .... Lindsay
It's funny that she's got a movie coming out called "Last Call" - the same name as her ex-fiance's, Carson Daly, late night talk show.

Tara Reid Is Engaged!
'American Pie' actress Tara Reid got engaged to boyfriend Michael Axtmann on Monday after he popped the question while dining at Little Door restaurant in Los Angeles.
The couple were dining at the Little Door when "Michael surprised Tara with a beautiful round brilliant cut ring," her rep tells People. "Tara was so happy, and the other patrons clapped and yelled out, 'Congratulations.'"
How sweet!! I know a lot of people are rooting for Tara - so this is very nice to hear. Can't wait to see the ring. :)

According to PopEater, this is what Tara Reid told Playboy when she sat down with them for an interview: after doing a photoshoot with them. Tara says she has matured.
"I've grown up a lot, and it's time for people to see who I am. I lived a lot of years in the public eye. But if you look at me now, that's not who I am anymore ... I'm not 'Girls Gone Wild' anymore.
"I've always seemed younger than I am. I was doing teen movies when I was in my 20s. But at 34 I think I'm the perfect age to do this."
Ummm... okay? This is such a mind-boggling contradiction! Tara wants us to believe she's not a "Girls Gone Wild" partygirl by posing for Playboy? Out of ALL the magazines she could've posed for?
Maybe Tara thought guys would be so focused on the pictures, they wouldn't bother to read the interview. (And maybe she was right- LOL!)

Tara Reid Posed For Playboy To Prove Her Body Isn't Damaged
That would be a great story... if photoshopping didn't run rampant on the magazine's pages! I could pose for Playboy and come out looking like a 10. Those people are 21st century magicians.
Tara Reid says she posed for Playboy to prove her body isn’t damaged by plastic surgery. The ‘American Pie’ actress – who was left with a scarred stomach after a liposuction procedure went wrong - can be see topless in the next edition of the famous men’s magazine and she decided to accept the shoot to show off her healed and sexy body. She said in an interview with WPIX:
“It wasn’t a good surgery, it happens sometimes. I got it fixed and now I’m OK, and I want people to know that I’m OK. I’ve been OK now for the last five or six years but people only show old pictures which is so unfair and that’s part of the reason why I did the Playboy shoot – to show the world this is me and this is what I look like.”
Tara, 34, had been offered to strip for the publication several times in the past but always turned down the opportunity.
However, she decided now was the right time to finally accept because she is in a good place “spiritually, physically and mentally”.
“I’ve been offered Playboy in the past but I didn’t really think it was the right time. I was younger and I’m in my 30s now and I feel I’m at the best age in my life – mentally, physically and spiritually – and I’m proud of it.
“So many unbelievable stars have done it throughout the years and I figured, ‘Why not?’ ”
I'm sure it will do wonders for her career.

Tara Reid Posed For Playboy
In Touch just announced that Tara Reid has posed for the cover of an upcoming issue of Playboy magazine. Rumor has it she is entirely nude - not like the last hyped up Heidi Montag cover.
“She was a bit insecure about her body when they first started,” says an insider. “She looked great and finally got into the groove.”
Tara had made it no secret that she is uncomfortable with her stomach after a botched liposuction procedure in 2007.
“I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it's uneven, but it's not that bad. My stomach scars are my battle wounds."

Tara Reid Has A New Film Role
Tara Reid has a new role. She's been cast in the comedy 'Last Call.' The stars of the film are Travis Van Winkle and Ryan Hansen. Here's the plot:
Underachieving siblings Phil and Danny O'Donnell are forced to run the
family pub to save their eccentric uncle from jail time and financial
ruin."
In addition to 'Last Call,' Tara also has been cast in 'Land of Canaan' and is rumored to be cast in 'The Fields.' It's good to see that her stint in rehab hasn't slowed Tara's career.

Tara Reid was spotted Sunday afternoon with her new German boyfriend Michael Axtmann, watching the DTM race race at Norising race track
in Nuremberg, Germany.
I think Tara is looking great, so much better than recent months right?
She looks so happy. It seems her new boyfriend has a positive impact on her. Hopefully, we will get to see the actress in a few new movies.
