Is Rihanna Releasing A New Single?

Now this is savvy internet marketing! On Rihanna's website there's a countdown clock indicating that something is going to happen tomorrow.
People think Rihanna is releasing an album on November 23 because her website says "The Wait is Ova... Nov 23," but no one knows what the countdown clock to tomorrow is for.
She was spotted shooting a music video last weekend.
Rihanna (and her people) certainly know how to generate buzz, don't they? After all the personal issues she's had to deal with, I'm glad she's moving on with her career!

Tyler Perry Discusses Abusive Childhood

Tyler Perry explains why the movie 'Precious' moved him so much that he signed on as executive producer after seeing it at a film festival: because of his own experiences as an abused child.
"[A]s I child I always thought I would die before I grew up...
"My father came home, mad at the world," he writes. "He was drunk, as he was most of the time. He got the vacuum cleaner extension cord and trapped me in a room and beat me until the skin was coming off my back."
That's only one of the many horrific experiences Tyler recounts on his website. He also writes about watching his father beat his mother, his own experience being sexually abused by a friend's mother, and one time when his grandmother bathed him in ammonia.
Tyler wrote that any money he or Oprah Winfrey make from 'Precious' will be donated to charity and why he wants people to see this film.
I sat there in tears realizing that somehow, by the grace of God, I made it through. My tears were tears of joy, being thankful that I made it... It gave me so much hope after watching it. For everyone who has been a Precious, male or female, this movie will make you so glad you made it through.
What a powerful endorsement for a film.

Congrats To DonnaJ!
I'm happy to announce that DonnaJ won September's Points Prize sponsored by The Delaware State Fair. She accumulated the most points on the INO system for the month. If you look at the TOP MEMBERS page, you will see that she came in third. However writers are not eligible which removes Kyle from the running.
I meant to post this yesterday, but I haven't been online for a day and a half. My writers have been holding down the fort and I have been taking a tour of the Avon Research and Development plant and learning about some great new products from Munchkin (will post on INO Style and INO Mommy over the weekend).
Prizing will continue in November. I want to use October to complete fixing the system and tweak everything that needs addressing. We are ALMOST THERE! Woot! Woot!
All points earned in October will go towards your overall INO score.
Thanks for playing and congratulations once again to DonnaJ!

French Lawmakers Want To Put Warnings On Photoshopped Images

This is amazing. Simply amazing.
A group of 50 politicians are sick and tired of all the photoshopped images and want to put a law in place which will FORCE magazines, billboards, and product packaging to say which shots have been "digitally enhanced".
Campaigning MP Valerie Boyer, of President Nicolas Sarkozy's UMP party, said the wording should read:"Retouched photograph aimed at changing a person's physical appearance".
"These photos can lead people to believe in a reality that does not actually exist, and have a detrimental effect on adolescents. "Many young people, particularly girls, do not know the difference between the virtual and reality, and can develop complexes from a very young age.
"In some cases this leads to anorexia or bulimia and very serious health problems. It's not just a question of public health, but also a way of protecting the consumer."
What do you think about their decision? I think it is a wonderful idea, but won't EVERY picture just have that warning on it then? LOL. I really do think it's a step in the right direction though.
