Whitney Port Makes Fashion Debut In Miami
Whitney Port's reality TV show, 'The City,' may be set in New York, but they took a trip down south. Whitney and cast member Roxy Olin were spotted shooting scenes for the show at a hotel in Miami Beach.
What do you think of Whitney's colorful sundress? I'm not sure it works for me, but one thing I have to give Whitney credit for is taking chances with fashion. She has a real sense of style and isn't afraid of anything.
According to the Miami Herald, Whitney's in town to debut her own designs at FASHIONmiami along with five other up-and-coming fashion designers. Maybe Whitney's going through some of her designs for the show by the pool?

Whitney Port Dating MTV Reality Star
"The City's" Whitney Port is reportedly dating a fellow reality star, Ben Nemtin. Ben is the star of MTV's new show "The Buried Life" which is a "bucket-list" type of series.
Ben was on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning and spilled a little of the info. He admitted that he's:
“kind of been hanging out with Whitney” while in New York City.
Ryan asked Ben and his castmates whether they were dating anyone and that's when Ben spoke up about Whitney:
“We just met, you know, when I’m in New York and stuff,” he said. “We’ve been hanging out but other than that, you know, we just kinda met.”
Whitney is hard at work this week debuting her collection at Fashion Week.
It's being assumed that the two met during MTV's "upfronts" at the Bryant Park Hotel. They obviously hit it off pretty well. ;) Maybe they'll each appear in an episode of the other's show?

Ports 1961's Fall 2010 Collection At NY's Fashion Week
Ports 1961's Fall 2010 Collection was a thing of beauty and comfort. Designer, Tia Cibani, used the juxtaposition of history's past discoveries and the present's capacity for future inventions as inspiration for this collection. With a variations of silhouettes, this collection, though obviously displayed on the tall, thin frames of models, can be translated to fit the bodies of many different sizes. The color story was a seamless blend of fall's grays, beiges and creams mixed with new purples and maroons. Stiffer fabrics with visible seams were used to make boxy dresses that drew smaller at the knees. Paired with high-heeled booties and knee length riding boots, these are for the woman who isn't interested in showing off every bump and curve of her body. Most of the looks were accompanied by fitted caps, some with extended backs. The hair was big, billowy and dreamy with makeup that looked natural.

I particularly loved their outerwear. One jacket, in particular, was stunning. The back fitted close to the body and was done in leather. The front was overpowered by large lapels that extended to the waist and was done in a woolly fabric. It looked warm and so very fly. Ports 1961's dresses were also beautiful. Paired with red fishnet stockings and boots for the Fall, the dresses were draped and elegant in deep maroons and purples.
I spied a new-ish silhouette that I think I'm falling in love with. Think tall, scrunched riding boots with a billowy, long-sleeved blouse tucked into fitted, waist-high pants. Its casual but chic and very simple to try. The jewelry that accompanied the collection was a mix of huge, chunky necklaces and fabric bracelets.
All in all, I loved the collection. The attention to details, like elaborate seams and draping, showed the expertise of the designer. Whitney Port caught the show from the second row while Joe Zee and Olivia Palermo filmed scenes for their reality show in the front row.

Whitney Port Films A Commercial
'The City' star Whitney Port was spotted filming a commercial yesterday in New York City's SoHo District. She looks a little bored in some pictures and then very energetic in others, so I'm guessing Whitney does a good job of "lighting up" for the cameras.
If you've ever seen something being filmed, then you know that's just the reality: lots of tedious downtime with moments of excitement.
When you're just watching on the sidelines, it can turn into lots of tedious downtime :)
How do you like Whitney's outfit? I think she looks good, but Whitney has the type of figure that can carry off pretty much anything.

Lauren Conrad Refuses To Invite Some 'Hills' Cast To Her Birthday Party
Remember when Lauren Conrad talked about one of the things that upset her while doing 'The Hills' was that the producers invited Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt to her birthday party? Well, now Lauren's no longer on the show, so she controls the guest list, thank you very much.
Which means Heidi, Spencer, and Audrina Patridge were NOT invited.
"Heidi, Spencer and Audrina simply weren't invited, but why would they be?" one partygoer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. "Instead, Lauren wanted to celebrate with the people she loved."
That included boyfriend Kyle Howard, Lauren "Lo" Bosworth, and 'The City' star Whitney Port. Well, it was her birthday.
Lauren's birthday cake sparkled: literally.
"The cake was in the shape of a giant chocolate-ycupcake with real live sparklers! It was super cute," the source says, adding that when the dessert was wheeled out, "Lauren immediately called for Kyle to come over and stand next to her while she blew out her candles!"
Cute! There was only one slight glitch...
"As the bash was winding down, people were leaving and trying to take bottles of liquor with them. Let's just say some were successful and some weren't!" chuckles our insider.
LOL! Sounds like Lauren had a fun birthday. I'm not surprised Heidi and Spencer weren't invited, but what about Audrina? Sounds like their "friendship" was for the show.
