Taylor Swift is “obsessed” with number 13. She's even thinking about getting a tattoo placed on her arm... but her family is desperately trying to talk her out of it. A source told gossip website Absolute Now:
"Taylor has this weird connection with the number 13 which goes back to when she was a kid. It's her lucky number. Every time she has won an award she has sat in seat number 13, and the number keeps cropping up in good times for her.
“She was even going to get a tattoo on her arm but her folks have stepped in and convinced her it could be kind of unlucky for her look.”
Do you think if Taylor got a tattoo it would be bad for her image? It's not like she is getting skull and bones etched on her forehead. I doubt it would have any effect on her career.

Taylor Swift Upsets Australian Wildlife Authorities
Taylor Swift's tweet last night landed her some words of gentle criticism from Australian wildlife authorities. She's currently on tour and visited a Melbourne park after her show last night.
She shared on Twitter:
Tonight the band and I played a show, then hopped in the van and headed to the park for some midnight wild possum feeding.
A spokesperson for Australia’s Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) told Radar Online:
"We know people who feed wild animals often have the best intentions and that it is attractive to tourists who want to interact with Australian wildlife.
"However, DSE advises people not to feed wild animals... it can disrupt their natural behaviour and it can cause some animals to lose their natural fear of people, making them vulnerable to attack."
I'm sure Taylor didn't mean any harm. Who knows, she might have just been joking about the feeding completely, right?

Details On Taylor Lautner And Taylor Swift's First Kiss
'Valentine's Day' director Garry Marshall told E! News' Marc Malkin he saw Taylor Lautner's and Taylor Swift's romance blossom right before his eyes on set.
"I always start with the kissing scenes," director Garry Marshall told [Marc Malkin]... "The first thing they did was kiss.
"The first three were nice. By the fourth I think they started going together. I don't what the hell happened, but somewhere in the fifth or sixth take they were dating."
At the Taylors' ages, I can understand that- LOL.
Can you imagine just starting to work with someone and starting out with the kissing scenes? I guess it makes sense, though; the actors don't stew in nervous anticipation if they get it out of the way up front :)
This story would've been even more amusing if the Taylors were still together, but oh well. (And if you're wondering why Taylor Swift wasn't there, it's because she's on tour in Australia.)
Garry also confirmed that there are plans for a 'Valentine's Day' sequel that will center on New Year's Eve, and he's already signed on to direct.
"They're making me the holiday director," Marshall cracked. "I'm also going to do Flag Day [and] Arbor Day. Now, for all the holidays, I'll be doing something."
Hmmm... it could be good, depending on what the stories are. I like these ensemble movies. How about you?

Taylor Swift Is Looking For A Tall, Funny Guy
I'm going to comfort myself with the idea that this interview means Taylor Swift is NOT dating John Mayer. She recently said she's looking for a tall, funny guy. And when Taylor says tall, she means a guy who's taller than her (and she's 5' 11" tall).
"The bad thing about being tall is the majority of people are at a different eye level than you, and so you feel like you're looking down to talk to people, which is kind of unnatural – looking down to talk to people, and they have to look way up to talk to you.
"It just depends on what group of people you're around. If there are a few scattered tall people in the room or in the group of people that you're talking to, it's not awkward at all. But if you're around a bunch of little, mini-people and you're the only giant in the circle, it can be kind of interesting."
Makes sense to me :)
Yet Taylor also wants a guy who's funny.
"Somebody who has a compatible sense of humor with me, that would be the most important thing."
Taylor just may have found a match, if 'Boys Like Girls' lead singer Martin Johnson has his way. They did the duet 'Two is Better than One' together, and here's how he described Taylor:
"Taylor Swift is the perfect human being. She's great. She's such a nice, wholehearted, sweet girl, and she's the biggest superstar in the world. My mom would be stoked if I brought her home."
