Jay-Z Wants To Be A Wedding DJ
Jay-Z has a new career goal: wedding DJ! The rapper said he would put on an extravagant show, using a pre-recorded set-list rather than employing professional skills.
He said: "I've got a whole plan. I'm gonna get me a little Serato set, some DJ software. I'm gonna work on that for six months, then I'm gonna find out which DJ makes the most and charge double and tour, do bar mitzvahs, weddings.
He added: "I'm gonna have video behind me and dancers. I'm gonna have people just go out and pour champagne when I get to a certain song. I'm going to make a whole show of this thing. "
He'd definitely have the best wedding DJ setup I've ever seen! He admits that his wedding services won't be cheap, but says you will get your money's worth. But he says we should book him early to get the best deal.
"If you want to book me, book me early, because the prices will be a little better because when I get good, I'm really going to go for it."
He says he won't go by Jay-Z for the wedding "business".
"I'm definitely going to go by a different name. I want people to hear it and be like, 'Wow!'. It's got to look good in lights."
I'm going to take a guess here and assume that he's joking! If he is, he has a great sense of humor. If he's serious, it's not quite as big of a leap as Joaquin Phoenix leaving acting behind to become a rapper, right?

Jay-Z And Beyonce Offended Some People When They Got Married
Jay-Z confided to Oprah Winfrey that he and Beyonce offended some people when they wed. It sounds completely unintentional, but Jay-Z said that one of the ways they kept their wedding quiet was with "late planning" and a limited guest list.
The sad part is that we offended some," he said of not inviting a lot
of friends. "But people who love you understand. Because at the end of
the day, it’s your day."
Jay-Z said they had a very small wedding at his Tribeca apartment followed by "a lavish party." Jay-Z also talked to Oprah about his past as a drug dealer and music lyrics.

Jay-Z And Beyonce Might Take Two Year Vacation Together
How amazing that they are able to do this!!!
Jay-Z and Beyonce are hoping that after her Sasha Fierce tour has finished up, the power couple can take a TWO YEAR break together.
"My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired
and want to take two years off. I've worked hard enough to be able to
do that. I'm in a very good place."
She says, they're planning on working out their commitments on the calendar so that they can relax on a loooong vacation!
Now that's a definite benefit of celebrity that us normal folks don't have. I'd be laying if I said I weren't a little jealous! :)

Beyonce And Jay-Z At Pastis
Beyonce and husband Jay-Z made a rare appearance together as they left Pastis Restaurant in New York the other day. I love these two together. The couple just celebrated their one year anniversary - not that you would know that. Neither one made a big stink about it with the press.

Jay-Z Plays Matchmaker For Khloe Kardashian
Now this is something that surprises me, I guess just becuase I didn't even know these two knew each other! Yet, in an OK! exclusive, the magazine claims that Jay-Z wants to help Khloe Kardashian find a new boyfriend.
'Jay thinks Khloe is a good girl,' the insider says about the Celebrity Apprentice star. 'But she can't seem to pick out the players from the good guys.'
According
to the friend, Jay-Z told 24-year-old Khloe that she has to stop dating
boys and go for men. 'Jay is all about substance so seems like things
could work out,' the source explains."
If this is true, it sounds like Jay-Z has some good ideas when it comes to finding a trustworthy man to date! Do you agree?

Stars React To Chris Brown's Apology
As you can imagine, celebrities' reaction to Chris Brown's apology run the gamut! Not unlike ours, I'd imagine. Here are some reactions.
Gayle King, Oprah Winfrey's best friend, is not having it.
Right now I can't think of anything that makes me support anything that
Chris Brown is saying at this time. And my heart just aches for Rihanna."
Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku seemed to feel the same way.
Any way, shape or form of domestic violence is inexcusable in my book."
Singer Carrie Underwood is more neutral.
I don't think anybody actually knows what happened. I have no advice
because, thank goodness, I've never been in any kind of abusive
situation. You hear a new one every five minutes, and some of them are
getting kind of ridiculous. I really hope everyone will lay off and
just let everybody who's involved figure out everything first."
I'm not sure what's ridiculous, but that's all the quote says.
Jay-Z, however, seems to be most concerned about his protege, Rihanna.
This is a real situation. You have to have compassion for others. Just
imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should
talk about that. I just think we should all support her. She's going
through a tough time. You have to realize she's a young girl, as well.
She's very young."
And others are just trying to support both Chris and Rihanna during a difficult time.

Newlywed Beyonce Scared Of Childbirth
Cadillac Records star Beyonce may have been ready to commit to marriage to long-time boyfriend Jay-Z last April, but she's in no rush to start a family after witnessing the miracle of childbirth. Beyonce is on the cover of the January 2009 issue of Elle magazine and spoke to them about her family plans (or lack thereof).
'I'm terrified of delivering a child because I saw my nephew
being born. That traumatised me.'At the hospital, my sister said: 'Girl, you better come on in here'. I
told her: 'No one should see that before their time'. I told Solange:
'Please don't do this to me'."But Solange did. 'Oh my. Whooo'."
Beyonce also pointed out that at age 27, she "has time." I guess Solange forgot to tell her the lie about how she would forget all about it afterwards? I'm sure Beyonce will come around and focus on how incredible it will be to have children of her own when she's ready.
