Dakota Fanning Covers Teen Vogue

Dakota Fanning may only be fifteen years old, but the actress has already worked with the likes of Sean Penn, Robert DeNiro, Denzel Washington, and Tom Cruise. So what else was left for her to do? Get involved in a major franchise! Dakota talked about her latest project and transitioning into being an adult actress with Teen Vogue.
Dakota will do that this month as the Volturi Jane in 'New Moon.' Jane has the power to cause pain without even touching her victims. Ouch! Dakota said she didn't need to do much to prepare for the role: "The red contacts were enough."
It wasn't a hard sell to get Dakota to sign on; she's a major 'Twilight' fan.
"I read all four Twilight books in one week. It's such a phenomenon, and I wanted to be able to say that I was a part of it."
Shooting 'New Moon' also gave Dakota a chance to get to know 'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart before they started shooting their film 'The Runaways.'
"We became really close," Dakota says, "like we'd known each other for our whole lives. We talk all the time.
"I've never been such an evil character, and because I do know Kristen so well, being mean to her was really weird. It's like, Sorry, dude!"
Kristen apparently feels the same way. In an email from the 'Eclipse' set, she told Teen Vogue:
"Dakota is one of the most consistently moving actors I have ever worked with. I'm always better with her."
Sounds like high praise from one actor to another! You can read more of the Teen Vogue interview here, and get a copy of the December/January issue when it hits newsstands on November 17.

Demi Moore For W Magazine

Demi Moore is on the cover of W magazine’s December issue looking as sexy AND YOUTHFUL as ever. In her interview, she discusses being labeled a cougar, twitter, aging and more.
ON being LABELED A “COUGAR” FOR HER RELATIONSHIP with 31-YEAR-OLD ACTOR, ASHTON KUTCHER… “I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl. I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, ‘There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?...I’d prefer to be called a Puma.”
On how Twitter is transforming HER IMAGE… “People are much more interested in what I have to say directly, and that really changed the whole dynamic I have with fans…I can’t impress enough the difference in how people are perceiving me. They’re getting to see who I am.”
ON HOW AGE IS STIFLING HER CAREER… “The frustrating part is that the type of roles I’d be interested in are not really coming to me. I hate to say it’s a function of my age [47]—but yes, I think in some ways it is. The majority of [female] roles are geared between 25 and 35.”

Fergie Is A Cosmo Girl

Fergie is the cover girl for the December issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine. Here are some snippets from the interview:
Fergie on her image:
"You know, in Italy, Catholic boys are raised to believe that there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore. And me? I’m both."
How did husband Josh Duhamel react to her weight gain for her role in 'Nine'?
"When I came home from filming he was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it’s there and the tight stomach when that’s there…he’s never been critical."
Talk about bad timing for these stripper allegations to come up! In a show of solidarity, Fergie flew to Atlanta for a date night with Josh (where he's filming 'Life As We Know It') this past Tuesday.
You can read Fergie's entire interview in the December issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, which hits newsstands November 10.

Natalie Portman Doesn't Mind If She Sucks

Natalie Portman opens up in this month's issue of V Magazine about her work, her future, and her wild ways we never knew about.
Natalie believes that she is taken more seriously as an actress because she was sowing her wild oats before the days of social networking and blogs.
"The formative time of my public image happened before there was Facebook, Twitter and all of these gossip sites. I had my drunken nights and dating a million people, but there wasn't that attention then."
She shared that she doesn't mind when people think her acting sucks - it inspires her to try harder. Critics had panned her performance in the Star Wars trilogy but she didn't let it get to her in a negative way.
"my acting was not exactly respected in those films", she admits with a nervous laugh. "but those are the moments when you want to prove yourself again. When people think I suck, it helps."
Natalie just signed on to begin working with Darren Aronofsky on Black Swan. She's no longer shying away from nudity, as the movie contains a serious lesbian sex scene.
"it's not raunchy - it's extreme" she says
She's also making sure she has plenty to keep her busy if her acting career dries up. She runs her own production company, is an ambassador for Finca International and is also working on setting up a website called MakingOf.com, which will take viewers behind the scenes of famous movies. Whew, that should keep her on her toes for a long time to come!
She is next starring in the film Brothers, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire, which is due out December 4th.
A young man comforts his older brother's wife and children after he goes missing in Afghanistan. Based on Susanne Bier's film, "Brothers"

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart In Harper's Bazaar

New Moon's Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart grace the December cover of Harper's Bazaar and share the wild ride that has catapulted them into the spotlight for better or for worse. The magazine gets an inside look at the life of Hollywood's hottest young stars and in the interview the two share their thoughts on each other -- and why Stewart's nickname for Pattinson is Flippy.
Harper's Bazaar's December issue hits stands November 17th.
Stewart calls Pattinson "a great singer. Heartbreaking," while Pattinson says of his costar, "She's a unique girl. You really don't meet many people like Kristen."
When asked who is more romantic, Stewart immediately says Pattinson, adding,
"I'd have to say Rob is. I think romance is anything honest. As long as it's honest, it's so disarming."
When is Pattinson posed with the same question he quips,
"What did Kristen say?" When he finds out that she pointed at him, he responds, "No. I'm better at faking" and laughs.
Pattison on Stewart:
"Kristen doesn't take an slack. She sticks to her guns - and that's difficult to do."
Stewart on who is more athletic:
"I'm definitely claiming that one. Rob can barely jump rope. I call him Flippy because when he does his stunt rehearsals, he flips around [makes gestures like a penguin]. And God, when he tries to run..."
Pattinson on who googles themselves more:
"[Kristin] would say me, but I reckon it's her. If either one of us catches the other one doing it, we're like, Jesus Christ, is that what you're looking at? And the other one's on their phone pretending to text. I look up my competition more than she does. I'm incredibly shallow. I think she just looks at herself."
Love these two!
Alexa Chung Isn't Like Oprah

Alexa Chung, the host of MTV's Its On With Alexa Chung, sat down with V Magazine for their upcoming issue and chatted very candidly about her new life in America, her show, and her connection to Ian Somerhalder!
Alexa moved to New York from London to head up the show, which is MTV's "replacement" for TRL. She's asked how she's adjusting to life in the Big Apple:
AC It’s really nice, but I think my apartment is too shiny. I just found out that [the actor] Ian Somerhalder used to live in it.
Lucky girl! It would've been even better if he had just moved next door, right?
You would think that with all of the people she meets and interviews each day, that she'd have no problem making a lot of friends. But she says that's not quite the case:
AC I don’t really have any friends in America.
AC Well, I have some friends. ..... I just don’t tolerate douche bags. You get them in England too, those people who just sort of hang out and hold coats or something. But there’s more of them here.
Alexa thinks she might stay in America, even after the show is over.
DB Will you go back to England when this MTV gig is done?
AC I don’t know. I went to a wedding last weekend [in England] and when I got back here I was quite relieved to be home in New York. Whoa, I guess that’s the first time I actually said that and meant it "Home In New York".
Sounds like she is liking it here. Many times you hear celebrities who hail from England say that they can't wait to get back home because it's a little less "celebrity crazy" over there.
Alexa says she likes to meet her guests for a quick minute before the show starts. The interviewer tells her that Oprah never greets guests before her shows. lol
