Supermodel Linda Evangelista struck a number of poses for a photoshoot with W magazine. Linda was wearing an elaborate costume with over-sized head dress and multiple cross pendants.
I'm interested to see how this photoshoot will turn out. Looks like they're going with a religious theme. Does anyone find these pictures offensive?

Kelly Clarkson Photoshopped To Death For Self Magazine's September Cover
I love Kelly Clarkson - as she is. 100%. Nothing about her should be altered. She is a TRUE artist and has said time and time again that she is proud and comfortable with her body. The singer has become an unofficial spokesperson for the average woman and has proven that you don't have to fit into Hollywood's perfect mold to make it in the industry if you have what it takes.

Susan Boyle Gets A Makeover In Harper's Bazaar
Susan Boyle...is that really her!?!
Harper's Bazaar gave the singing sensation a makeover for their September issue, and WOW does she look like a whole new person! I mean, I did not even recognize her at first!
She also talked to the magazine about becoming an overnight internet hit.
On finding salvation through singing: “As a kid, I was in my own wee world when I listened to records in my bedroom,” she says. “I didn’t mix with other kids much. I was frightened of people because of their reactions toward me.” / "It’s complicated,” she says quietly. “But the best way I could express myself was in the bedroom, singing along and imagining I was entertaining people.”
On becoming an overnight YouTube sensation: “YouTube? What’s that? A tube of candy? I don’t think so!” She laughs. “That was a shock. The YouTube thing was like a demolition ball. It was just overwhelming—to find TV stations camped outside your door and the phone ringing 24 hours a day. It was good. But overwhelming. It was too big for anyone to handle.”
Amazing what a little mascara can do a for a person, isn't it? :P
Now that we are seeing Susan pop up in major magazines, I'm hoping this means that she's not just the fad of the month. I'd love to see her with a long career in the business.

Jessica Simpson On The Cover Of Glamour
Jessica Simpson was featured on the cover of Glamour Magazine this month and she's really telling all! She opens up on her past relationships, future plans, and more.
On relationships:
“I don’t regret anything I’ve gone through.... I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn’t change. I’m very happy and comfortable—it’s a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love [Tony], and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today.”
On body image:
“It’s not fair that women look in the mirror and feel disgust because of what society has made them believe about beauty. I’ve been through it myself and understand the pressures. We’re all facing the same struggles together, whether you’re a celebrity or not.”
On her divorce:
“It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again. It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete—and that’s the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person.”
On the legacy she’d like to leave behind:
“Tony said, ‘Jessica, at the end of your life, the only thing that’s going to flash through your mind and heart is your husband, kids, family and the people you love. You’re not going to think, I wish I’d done this with my career. And I’m not going to remember how many touchdown passes I threw or if I won the Super Bowl.’ Music is the heart of who I am, and it’s the most personal thing that I do.”
On her future plans:
“I’m never going to be a woman who doesn’t work. At 12 I was emancipated from my parents so I could sign my first record deal. I think I was born working!”
I really like what she had to say about body image. Jessica has certainly been through the media wringer and back so she knows all about societal pressures!
Jenna Jameson Poses For Peta In 'Pleather Yourself' Campaign
Adult star Jenna Jameson has shown her support for PETA by posing for their latest animal rights campaign, 'Pleather Yourself'. Having over 100 adult films under her belt, Jenna says pleather has always been her favorite material to dress up in.
"I've worn a lot of pleather in my life," she says. "Anybody that knows Jenna Jameson knows I've lived half my life in it."
We've had this discussion before - do ads like these make you reconsider buying leather? How about now that Jenna was chosen as the spokesperson? Does that decision strengthen or weaken their cause?
