Scarlett Johansson Wants To Star In 'Iron Man' Spin-Off
Scarlett Johansson apparently liked playing Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff so much in 'Iron Man2' that she's ready to star in her own spin-off! She feels there are a lot of possibilities to explore with the character.
"She has many different incarnations and
different storylines so I'm hoping she will be able to continue in that way.
I'm hoping that if the fans like the character and support the character, we'll
see her again.""I hope I get to come back
and do it again. The character certainly comes back. We see that she does in
the comics and certainly she is a big part of The Avengers. I don't know if
that is where it's going to go but she is definitely a big part of The
Avengers."
If Scarlett and husband Ryan Reynolds have children, imagine the fun their kids will have, watching their parents as superheros in their own movies :)
I, for one, cannot wait to see Scarlett as the Black Widow.

Scarlett Johansson Enjoys Getting In Front Of A Stove
Scarlett Johansson says cooking helps keep her "normal".
The actress likes to unwind after a tough day by creating something
in the kitchen as it gives her the routine she craves.
"After a long day at work, I really like to cook. I actually find
cooking dinner a really nice routine, especially after working, it makes me
feel normal again.
There is something nice about the routine. Often when
you're working, you're traveling around a lot and you feel kind of
disconnected - so I find having a routine like coming home and cooking
dinner every day sort of makes me feel more at home."
Ryan Reynolds must love it too!
The 24-year-old beauty also revealed she doesn't feel entirely comfortable
with being regarded as a role model.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine:
"I always thought you reached icon
status after you left this world. I never signed up to be a role model as
such. Of course, ever since I was a little girl I had an idea of what I
wanted to do - which was to pursue my dream of being a successful actor. If
that makes me a role model for people to look up to, then I suppose I am
flattered by it."
There is no getting around young people looking up to actors. It's just part of the business. But it's true that it can be trying on young Hollywood to live up to such high expectations. Do you think they should live a certain way knowing that young fans are watching?
Scarlett Johansson Had No Problem Getting Into Shape For Iron Man 2
Aside from the fact that Scarlett Johansson probably ALREADY ate very healthy and took care of herself to maintain her body, she says that for 'Iron Man 2', she really had to whip herself into shape.
I had to change my diet - when you are working out like that you have
to feed your new body so you eat in a different way. It's very clean.I feel much stronger than I've
ever felt just because I've had to build so much strength. I had no choice, I had to do it - I mean you want to do these stunts
and you have to be strong in order to do them."
She ate a diet of egg-white omelettes and lean turkey and worked out like a mad woman. Scarlett says she's in the best shape of her life!

Ryan Reynolds Is Hoping Scarlett Johansson Will Quit Smoking
Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are coming up on their one year anniversary together. And as a gift, Ryan has asked Scarlett for one little thing!
"Scarlett has
sworn to her shining knight she'll kick nicotine to prove she's the
world's happiest wife. Now she's researching hypnosis therapy."
Good luck to Scarlett with that! Although with people I know who smoke, someone else asking them to quit has never been reason enough...they've really had to want to do it themselves.

Scarlett Johansson Talks About Iron Man's Black Widow
Scarlett Johansson kicks “major a*s” in ‘Iron Man 2’.
The Hollywood beauty – who plays Natasha Romanoff and her alter-ego, sexy Russian spy Black Widow – enjoyed working on the comic book adaptation because she filmed her own violent stunt scenes.
“I’m kicking some major a*s – so I would say ‘major’ is the amount of a*s I kick.
“Whose a*s do I kick? Well, you’re just going to have to wait and see. You don’t really want to know, do you?”
Scarlett – who wears a high-tech tight black leather suit for the part - spent months training for the physical role.
"It was many, many, hours, days, and months of stunt training and strength training, but it's fun because I had a goal. The goal was the Lycra catsuit."
Was she happy with the results?
"Finally I was, yes," she said with a laugh. "You put that much work into something and you put it on and you better be happy with it."
Despite the hard work, the 24-year-old starlet says the physical sequences were her favorite scenes to film.
“Well I have to say I loved doing all my stunt sequences, because those are the ones I know best. I’ve got to fight for them. I’ve got to be my own cheerleader. So, all the Black Widow sequences, of course.
“Whose side is she fighting on? I don’t know. I think you’ve just got to call me a super shape-shifter.”
Scarlett Johansson's Directorial Debut
We heard that Scarlett Johansson had directed a short film; now Scarlett's introducing it to the public. The actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight about it at the LA Short Film Festival. It was originally supposed to be part of the film 'New York, I Love You.'
"It's like my version of a New York love story," she says. "It's a kind of Valentine to the city."
Kevin Bacon stars. "He's just wonderful," Scarlett says. "He was really happy to be there every day -- even in the freezing cold."
