Scarlett Johansson thinks of Old Hollywood glamour when getting ready for a big event. Her biggest beauty must?:
I'm a huge believer in the power of lipstick, especially red--it's like instant glamour in a tube. I don't remember the first time I wore it, but I was young, probably in my early teens."
She advises to disregard the boldness and just go for it!:
Most women look good in red, and it's actually very easy to pull off. You just have to find the right shade for you. It's so much better than that horrible brown everyone was wearing in the '90's."

Scarlett Johansson Is The New Face Of Mango
Scarlett Johansson is the new face of Mango, a European clothing line, for their autumn/winter 2009/2010 collection. What do you think of the photoshoot? I kind of miss seeing Scarlett as a blonde: it's just how I picture her (although she looks great either way).
You can see Scarlett's current look in the last two photos in the thumbnails (blue blouse and black skirt); those were taken at a photocall for Mango in Spain over the weekend.
But the most important question, of course, is what do you think of the clothes?

Adoption Plans For Ryan Reynolds And Scarlett Johansson
I wish Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson would just step out in public together. I am so sick of using pictures of them apart when writing about the couple. Come on guys! Go grab some sushi or something. :)
Sorry for the vent... back to the story.
The 'Proposal' actor - who married the 'Lost In Translation' star last
September - dreams of giving a home to a disadvantaged child because of his
own upbringing with an adopted sibling.
"My oldest brother is adopted and I have every intention of
adopting at some time. I'm very grateful for having my brother in my life. I
couldn't be more pro-adoption. There are plenty of kids in the world that
need it."
Although Ryan is now very close to his three brothers, he admits they didn't
always get on as youngsters.
He added to Britain's Glamour magazine:
"I learned how to take a punch from a
very early age. I was routinely pummeled into a fine cottage cheese."
Boys will be boys!
The 32-year-old star also enjoys a close relationship with his parents and
says he shares a lot of their traits.
"I have my father's face and body, but my mother's unshakeable
thirst for knowledge. She works part-time jobs but basically she's been a
student her whole life. She still goes to university and she's in her 60s."
Wow! I love that. Not so sure I'd be up for finals in my 60s - but looks like Ryan's mother is enjoying every moment.

Scarlett Johansson can't get enough of Benefit Cosmetics BADgal Lash Mascara
, a mascara I have never tried. In a recent Elle Magazine interview, the actress named this brand as her favorite.
I always like a good, rich mascara—Benefit BadGal is really thick and
black. And, at the risk of sounding corny, I’ve found a lot of the

Scarlett Johansson admitted to Elle Magazine that she has sensitive skin and sticks to products that have no fragrance in them. Her soap of choice? Cetaphil Gentile Soap.
"I’m 24, so I have the same breakouts as everybody else. I never go to bed with makeup on, even if I come home at 4 a.m. My skin’s sensitive, so I have to use things without fragrance, like Cetaphil
. And I clean my makeup brushes once a week. People don’t realize how dirty their sponges and stuff are! Bacteria—that’s what makes you break out. And I never really use moisturizer."

Ryan Reynolds Proposed To Scarlett Johansson Via Text Message
He's joking... I think. Either way, it's a great lead in for the rest of the story.
Ryan Reynolds "claims" he proposed to Scarlett Johansson by text message.
The ‘Proposal’ star says he struggled to find the words to write while using his phone.
“The hardest part was to compress all of that love, all of that joy
into just one text message. And then it was just hitting send.”
LOL!
The actor also spoke about his “ridiculous” sex scenes with Sandra Bullock
in ‘The Proposal’, admitting he is nervous about her husband Jesse James
seeing the movie.
He added to ‘Access Hollywood’:
“If I didn’t know Sandra Bullock
completely before, I do now. I know her in ways that her husband Jesse James
would turn me into some sort of flying curd cottage cheese-type pudding if
he knew. It’s pretty incredible.“It’s actually ridiculous. Not only are you naked, you’re doing a stunt as
well. It’s like expertly lit Cirque de Soleil porn.”
LOL! I can just HEAR Ryan saying those words. He's funnier than people give him credit for.
However, Ryan insists he was comfortable with the intimate scenes because he
and Sandra are such good friends.
“She and I have known each other for eight or nine years, so we
had this friendship already. The movie is kind of our chemistry in real
life.”
Despite being at ease with his co-star, Ryan took steps to ensure he looked
good on camera.
“I was training for a marathon at the time, so that was my
workout. I had to do these six or seven mile runs every morning. That was
enough.”
Yeah... that was most certainly enough. Ryan shirtless = YUM!
