Gwyneth Paltrow Jealous Of Scarlett Johansson
Yawn!! Why can't two successful women work together without these silly cat fight stories coming out to try to promote the film!? There are other ways to get people to talk about 'Iron Man 2'.
RUMOR HAS IT that Gwyneth Paltrow is jealous of the attention Scarlett Johansson is
receiving of the set of their latest movie.
The ‘Shakespeare in Love’ actress is said to be annoyed with her ‘Iron Man
2’ co-star’s attitude leading to a frosty atmosphere between the two screen
beauties.
“Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come
from different worlds and have completely different styles. Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding for the attention of the crew.
It’s not a happy set.”
Gwyneth – who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in the superhero movie,
based on the Marvel comic book series - is also said to be upset producers
decided to cast 24-year-old Scarlett in the part of sexy former spy Natasha
Romanoff.
The source added to Britain’s The Sun newspaper:
“Gwyneth and Scarlett have
never been particularly close. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with
Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being
Scarlett.“Gwyneth’s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she
and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at
the halfway point.”
Gwyneth, 36, has now taken a break from filming to join her husband Chris
Martin as he continues to tour the US with his band Coldplay.
Once she returns, the mother-of-two will shoot the movie’s main action
scenes, something she is looking forward to.

Scarlett Johansson Responds To Speculation About Weight Loss
By now we all know Scarlett Johansson has been cast as the Black Widow in Iron Man 2 (which reportedly includes a latex costume as her superhero suit). Apparently, some articles have claimed she is losing an unhealthy amount of weight for the role. Scarlett has responded publicly.
'Claims have been made that I’ve been on a
strict workout routine regulated by co-stars, whipped into shape by
trainers I’ve never met, eating sprouted grains I can’t pronounce and
ultimately losing 14 pounds off my 5’3” frame,' Scarlett...
wrote.'Losing 14 pounds out of necessity in order to live a healthier
life is a huge victory. I’m a petite person to begin with, so the idea
of my losing this amount of weight is utter lunacy. If I were to lose
14 pounds, I’d have to part with both arms. And a foot. I’m frustrated
with the irresponsibility of tabloid media who sell the public ideas
about what we should look like and how we should get there.' "
Scarlett denies doing any "crash dieting" or participating in any "miracle workouts." Instead, she said she is losing weight the old fashioned way: eating healthy and exercise.

Scarlett Johansson Isn't A Tramp
Last year Scarlett Johansson was very open about the fact that she gets tested for HIV on a regular basis. The media took that story and ran with it, and now Scarlett says she's unhappy with the label she's been given.
"It became, like, she's a tramp, she gets an HIV test. At the time,
I was single. You have to. It's mandatory. Why would you not? People
don't want to talk about sex: it is a very strange reaction. Like,
she's having an HIV test. She's having sex! At least it kind of starts
the conversation."You just have to swallow it. It's frustrating, but I'm not a very confrontational person. You hope it fizzles away."
And she adds that the industry's obsession with sexuality bothers her too. Speaking about the moment when fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi grabbed her breasts on the red carpet, Scarlett says,
"It was horrible. I didn't know what to do. It was very awkward.
It's funny coming up in the industry: I never thought about being
sexualised. But people are obsessed. Obsessed with weight, curves. It's
nuts. I have my own standard of how I like to look. I'm a healthy
person and I take care of myself."
Scarlett does seem to be one of the few actresses who's relatively unaffected by all the pressure to become a size zero. That being said, she's still super skinny by mere mortal standards.

Mickey Rourke And Scarlett Johansson Cast In Iron Man 2
Wow, this is a big week for Mickey Rourke. He's getting all kinds of big casting news lately!
Word is out that both he and Scarlett Johansson are officially confirmed for Iron Man 2. Robert Downey Jr. broke the news saying,
"They are both cast and doing Iron Man 2," he said. "Garry
Shandling is in the film. Of course we have Don Cheadle. We have Sam
Jackson. We have Sam Rockwell. And we of course we have, my dearest
heart, Gwyneth Paltrow."
That is a killer cast! Should make for a great...or just very expensive movie. :)

Ryan Reynolds Admits To Man Crush On Rob Pattinson
I am fully aware of the Twilight craze for many of us, but I have to admit, this threw even me for a loop! Ryan Reynolds admits to having a man crush on Rob Pattinson.
'I love 'Twilight,'' Ryan told MTV News’ Movies Blog. 'Oh my God are you kidding me? Robert Pattinson in a word: dreamy.'
And
just how far would Ryan go for Robert?'Look, I’m not gay - but I’m
thinking about it,' he added with a laugh."
I wonder if he's shared his feelings with his wife, Scarlett Johansson? If he has, that might explain the Canadian Mounties "unusual mission" to "keep the fans off the set" while Rob is filming New Moon ;)
Well, can you honestly blame Ryan? The guy's got good taste ;)

Scarlett Johansson Nervous About Upcoming Gladiatrix Role
Ooh how exciting! I knew nothing about Scarlett Johansson's upcoming action role! The actress has signed on for Amazon.
A gladiatrix exacts vengeance on an army that destroyed her homeland.
Scarlett has done many things for a film. She's learned to ride horses, jumped off buildings and even had a little weapon's training... but this movie takes the cake.
"I think I’m supposed to be a gladiatrix. These film guys are crazy about gladiatrixes. But do I fit the mould? I’m a Danish/Jewish girl from New York.
"I’ve done weapons training. I’ve fired all kinds of guns; 9mm semi-automatics, machine guns, shotguns. I’ve jumped off a 60-foot building. I learnt to ride for The Horse Whisperer. But I’ve never done a full-on action role.
"I guess I’m still waiting for my Cirque du Soleil moment. It would be fun."
Can you see Scarlett in this sort of movie? We won't have to wait much longer. It's due out in 2010.
