Ewan McGregor And Gina Carano Shoot 'Knockout'

Earlier this morning I wondered who was playing the main character in the new movie 'Knockout.' Now I think I found my answer :)
Here are Gina Carano and Ewan McGregor shooting a scene for 'Knockout'. I'm assuming Gina is the burned "super soldier."
She must be a newcomer: the only other films listed on her IMDb page are 'Blood and Bone,' 'Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3,' and 'Ring Girls.'
This sounds interesting to me: what do you think?

Ewan McGregor Likes Watching His Own Movies

Ewan McGregor isn't shy to admit it: he loves watching his own films.
"I love nothing more than going to see one of my films for the first time. Without fail, the first thing I think is 'Is that me?' You know, I'm sitting there, and then it goes dark and the projection starts and I go, 'Flipping heck.' I say to myself, 'That's me up there.' I always dreamed of doing it, and I still can't quite believe I'm doing it."
It doesn't seem arrogant; it just sounds like Ewan is thrilled to be acting :)
Ewan also said that, for the most part, his wife, Eve Mavrakis (with whom he has three kids) is okay with what his acting entails: even the sex scenes.
"I have done quite a few sex scenes in my career. But my wife has always been okay with them except when she was pregnant with our first daughter, Clara, and I went off to do the sex scene in 'Trainspotting'. Hormonally, she was all over the place.
"We had a massive fight about it. But that's the only time it's ever been an issue. Look, it's a weird situation to be seeing your partner in an emotional and sexual embrace with someone else in front of an audience of people. But it's my job. And, ultimately, she's completely cool with it."
I guess that's one thing about marrying an actor that you'd just have to come to grips with. I, myself, CAN'T imagine it, but if you marry an actor, I guess it's part of the territory.
Could you handle seeing your partner filming sex scenes with someone else as part of their job?

Ewan McGregor Talks To Men's Health

It sounds like Ewan McGregor's really settled down! He talks about the confidence he's learned as he grows older, his marriage, and parenting in the June issue of Men's Health.
Ewan has learned to become less self-conscious with age.
In your 20s, you spend a lot of time being self-conscious about what other people think of you. Then you hit your mid-30s and start to realize they weren't really thinking about you that much."
LOL! That is so true!
Ewan has been in a "happy marriage" with Eve Mavrakis for 14 years.
From the moment Eve and I met it was right, and I hesitate to explain the reasons behind that.
If you spend too much time 'working' on your relationship, I don't think it's a relationship worth being in. With Eve, I've never had to work. We just have it. I'm in it, she's in it, and that's that.
If you're attracted to someone, you're comfortable with them and have mutual respect, the rest will take care of itself."
Those sound like pretty wise principles to me, don't you think?
And as for parenting?
I'm not going to give my girl a pony just because she wants a pony. I don't even buy them iPods. You have to set limits with children.
Pay attention: I recognize it can be boring to play with young chidren- to tell a story over and over again, let's say- but the secret is being there. If you've made a decision to play with your children, then play with them. Don't be looking through papers on your desk or sneaking off to the computer. Turn off your BlackBerry. Lose yourself in their world. Even if you do it for a short time, it will mean a lot to you and to them."
Again, so. very. true.
Ewan McGregor On Good Morning America

Here's a hot guy we don't get to see often! What a treat! Ewan McGregor paid a visit to Good Morning America earlier today and from the looks of it he had a blast.
Ewan did a little horse-shoe tossing with Diane Sawyer, Chris Cuomo and Robin Roberts while he was there. Judging by the expression on his face...I'd say he won. :)

If You Had To Choose?

Ashton Kutcher was spotted at day 4 of the Sundance Film Festival entering the Sundance Channel Studios to conduct an interview for his new movie, "Spread". The movie co-stars Anne Heche and is about:
A sex comedy centered on a serial womanizer and his jilted lover.
Ewan McGregor was seen walking the streets of Park City, Utah yesterday during the Sundance Film Festival. Not sure if he was there to promote something though the guy does have SIX films in progress. Busy man...
So here's the question: You're on a plane to Australia and there's an empty seat next to you and you can choose to either have Ewan McGregor or Ashton Kutcher sit next to you... Who do you choose?

Earthquake Hits George Clooney's Movie Set In Puerto Rico

George Clooney and Ewan McGregor were shaken up... literally when a powerful earthquake struck their Puerto Rican set on Saturday. The pair was on location in the Caribbean to film their forthcoming anti-war satire Men Who Stare At Goats, a movie I must see because of the title alone, when they were jolted by the powerful quake.
The new movie, in which Clooney sports a moustache and long hair, is set in Iraq, but Puerto Rico was chosen as the best location to match the war-torn country’s landscape. No injuries were reported.
Ewan McGregor's Cancer Scare

Well if this isn't a wake up call for people to check out suspicious moles, I don't know what is. Ewan McGregor opened up about having to remove something from his body which his doctor thought was dangerous. You will note a tad bit of sarcasm in his quote because the reporter asked Ewan how he felt about having skin cancer. Sometimes what reporters ask...
"I went to see a specialist who thought they were better to be removed, and indeed he was correct. It was great fun having skin cancer, it was great, I really enjoyed it."
