Maggie Gyllenhaal & Peter Sarsgaard Co-Star On The Stage
In addition to being romantic partners in real-life, Hollywood couple Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard are partnering on-stage. They are preparing to star in an off-Broadway production of Uncle Vanya, which is being produced by the Classic Stage Company.
Maggie has been cast as Yelena, the young wife of an old professor. Uncle Vanya is a tragic comedy written by Anton Chekhov. Previews are scheduled to begin on January 17, 2009, with a limited run until March 1, 2009. An official opening date has not yet been announced.
Maggie and Peter are parents to two-year-old Ramona.

T.R. Knight Wants Out Of "Grey's Anatomy"

Multiple sources have confirmed to EW's Micheal Ausiello that T.R. Knight has requested to be released from his Grey's Anatomy contract. Contrary to reports that T.R. walked off the set, though, he is still at work on the show.
'They're working out the details now,' whispers an ABC insider."
T.R. plays the lovable George O'Malley, who, as any viewers of the show has noticed, has not had much of a storyline this season. Could this be why? (And before anyone gets worked up in righteous indignation about the link, may I point out that this is a gossip website?)
Regardless of the reason, ABC and Grey's Anatomy showrunner Shonda Rhimes reportedly are not fighting T.R. on this.

The Pussycat Dolls launched their exclusive line "...Shhh" at La Senza in London on Tuesday afternoon. The line was surprisingly a hit earlier this year when they debuted it at Los Angeles Fashion Week.

Britney Spears Returning To MTV!
Britney Spears met up with the new host of the VMA's, Russell Brand this past Tuesday to talk about the upcoming promo ad's she'll be doing for MTV. I guess even after the "eventful" performance from last year she's willing to brave it again to show people she's back to her old self. As of now she's just doing the promo ad's, but she is up for two VMA's and personally I think it would be fantastic if she performed again.

The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on September 7, 2008 and will be hosted by British comedian Russell Brand.
