Paparazzi No Longer Interested In John Mayer

John Mayer supposedly loves the attention from the paparazzi, but apparently the paparazzi no longer love him. Now that he's no longer with Jennifer Aniston, the press attention has died down.

“He thinks he’s famous as Jen now. Last week he went to a party, tipped off the paps, and even had decoy cars at the ready when he was leaving,” says one paparazzo. “Nice, but no one bothered to follow them, which made John think he ‘lost’ everyone, when really no one bothered to follow him.”

The value of a John Mayer photo on it's own isn't worth it for some of the agencies.

“Pictures of him and Jen were selling for $20,000 at one point. A picture of him alone gets $200 now. Chasing him from his apartment to Nobu is hardly worth it.”

$20,000, WOW. But, I believe it. I remember when the first fuzzy pics of John and Jen at the pool together came out...we were all shocked and dying for more!

John Mayer was spotted out leaving Nobu Next Door in New York after dinner with friends. I want to ask a little reader question here...and be honest! Has your opinion of John changed after the breakup with Jennifer Aniston?

I have my own thoughts on the subject, but I want to hear what you think before I say anything.

John Mayer Will Regret Talking To The Press

John Mayer will probably end up regretting the fact that he ever opened his mouth to begin with. Every since he shared details on the Jennifer Aniston split, he's been hounded by press at his house. Serves him right for kissing and telling!

"John was angry," says a friend. "He's been relentlessly hounded by the media on the streets. So he decided to push back." But now zealous celeb-weekly hacks are showing up at his home every day.

And in Jennifer news, her agents have supposedly been calling around seeing if there are any handsome and available men that would be interesting in taking her out.

Aniston's agents at CAA were calling around L.A. asking available men if they'd be interested in taking the beauty out. One was our flabbergasted friend - a tall, dark and handsome writer - who said, "Of course!" Word is Jen has asked them to cool the matchmaking, for now.

More Details About John Mayer Break Up Quote Released

Over the weekend, I posted the consolidated version of John Mayer's reason for breaking up with Jennifer Aniston. So many readers, like myself, wished that John would have left out the "who broke it off part". But he didn't and so Jennifer once again is painted as someone who can't stay in a relationship. UGH.

Now, Us Weekly posted more of the singer's response to the media's fascination with the break up.

"If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody. Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I've ever met. She's one of the most lovely people I've ever met in my life and I'm going through something that's a very personal thing and you have to give that up. You have to give everything up because you can't have it all and it sucks."

"I'm sorry that the story's not interesting. But it's about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she's great."

Mayer reflected on the situation as

"the most normal thing in the world – There's no lying, there's no cheating. There's no nothing. People are different, they have different chemistry, they have different lives. It's not about years, it's about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out."

John Mayer Broke It Off With Jennifer Aniston

Why did he have to say HOW it ended? Couldn't he have kept that part private? John Mayer has confirmed that his relationship with Jennifer Aniston is over. But it wasn't because of any cheating or ill will. They were just two people with different needs.

"There's no lying, there's no cheating, there's no nothing. Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met."

"People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right."

Jennifer Aniston And John Mayer Break Up

Eh... it's from The Mirror so let's not get excited. John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston have split according to a British tabloid. What started as a break has turned into something more permanent says a source.

"There's been a bit of tension for some time," says a source close to 30-year-old John. "They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked. John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn't ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved."

Remember those rags claiming that Jen wanted to marry and have children? The Mirror is suggesting that they weren't entirely false. Jennifer was looking for a plan from John about those life events and he just wasn't ready to give that to her.

"Contrary to reports, Jen didn't want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together. She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children. Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she's simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken.

"They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms. But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it's unlikely they'll rekindle their romance."

Like I said in the beginning... eh. Jen's rep wouldn't comment.

Jennifer Aniston To Marry John Mayer

Not only is Jennifer Aniston going to MARRY John Mayer, but it will be the wedding of the year! Quite the statement to make considering these two barely acknowledge to the press that they are seriously an item. The rags had their eyes focused on Jen this week, both claiming that her relationship with John is growing. One suggests a wedding and the other a baby.

Does ANYONE believe that Jen will have another million dollar wedding? I think she got that out of her system and will instead want to keep it very low key amongst close family and friends.

John Mayer Wants Paparazzi Laws In Place

I think this is a GREAT idea. We can still have pictures of our favorite celebrities, but the paparazzi will have to stand X feet away giving the stars some of their lives back. John Mayer went in front of City Council yesterday and addressed the new media issue:

"I don't sit before you today to ask that you ban the paparazzi. I'm asking you to regulate it, officialize it, tax it, legitimize it."

It wouldn't be smart to BAN, it's an industry in itself and the celebs DO benefit from the exposure. It keeps them current while they aren't working. Mayer is looking for "an acceptable distance" between photographers and an "unwilling subject."

"It's only an adaptive measure put in place to respond to some of the ways that living in a technological free market can compromise personal safety."

What do you think about this proposal? How about that it's John proposing it? He writes more about it on his blog.

I hope it goes through and more celebs stand up to fight for at least 20 feet. On Robertson, they should have a roped area where the paps can stand, and if celebs want to have their picture taken, they walk by it. It's all the same places anyway right?

This will stop the car chases and the shark swarmings that prevent actors from being able to walk. I think it would be a great compromise!!

John Mayer shaved his moppy locks off! I can't believe. I feel like I secretly wanted him to do this for a long time. But now that there is no turning back, I just don't know.
