WORK BIO I am a Somatologist and lover of all things related to my industry. A lover of learning, mother and business owner, who is not afraid to push the boundaries of our industry. I received a National Diploma in Somatology from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology as well as CIDESCO, which is an international qualification. I was first introduced to IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments whilst working as a Skin and Body therapist at Environ PTY. Ltd. in Cape Town after which I decided to start my own IPL/Laser clinic. Nina's Dermal Institute was founded in January 2007. In May 2008 I merged my Clinic with PURE Day Spa in Durbanville and due to its success; I ventured out and obtained my own premises once again. In February 2009 I decided to create a web presence in which I could share my knowledge of our industry with the public and websites and blogs followed.
