I'm the type of person who never meets a stranger and I like to believe the best in people. I find it better to be trusting rather than suspicious or cynical. I don't want to waste energy on negativity! I rely on my instincts and go with my feelings without stopping to rationalize, so if I'm thinking or feeling it, you're going to hear it! I just can't be contained! :) I'm passionate and enthusiastic about life and believe you CAN have (and do, and be) everything you hope for as long as you're willing to work hard for it. There are so many opportunities and so much potential to live a full, content, dynamic life; you only have to seize it! In a word, I'm an idealist. :)

Favorite Books: I love the classics! If you forced me to choose just one I'd have to go with Pride & Prejudice. I never tire of it! I'm a fast reader so a thick novel can be polished off within 4 or 5 hours. It's kind of a curse, actually.
Favorite Movies: Oy, this is another hard one. Favorites of this decade might be easier: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lars and the Real Girl, Children of Men, Amelie, I Heart Huckabees, Moulin Rouge, Love Actually, Donnie Darko, Stranger Than Fiction, The Departed, House of Sand and Fog, You Can Count on Me, The Incredibles, Inside Man, Meet the Robinsons, Once, The Village, The Brothers Bloom, Adaptation, Where the Wild Things Are... Wow. And I could keep going!
Favorite Music: Currently on shuffle/repeat: Grand Archives, Band of Horses, Monsters of Folk, My Morning Jacket, Flaming Lips, Loudon Wainwright, Elvis Costello, Blue Merle, Damien Rice, The Civil Wars, anybody on Brite Revolution...
Favorite Designers: I love vintage! My favorite "designers" are on etsy or ModCloth, but I get a lot from thrift stores, too. For new stuff, usually it comes from Free People or Target.
Biggest Splurge: I don't have one! The thrill of the hunt is getting it CHEAP!
Celebrity Crush: Boy crushes: James Marsden, Clive Owen, 1960s Paul Newman, Taye Diggs, Ryan Gosling, Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes), Joshua Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Lenny Kravitz, Hugh Dancy, Hugh Laurie, Hugh Jackman, while I'm at it!
