I'm a "Trans-Atlantan," which means I'm one of the many people living in Atlanta who wasn't born and raised here. I'm originally from the Midwest (Detroit, Mi), and have spent my life bouncing between the Midwest (Detroit, Ann Arbor) and the Southeast (Atlanta; Williamsburg, VA; Durham, NC). I studied clinical psychology and then did my postgraduate training working with traumatized children and adults with trauma histories. Although I hope to return to working in trauma, I now focus on helping people realize their potential as a life coach (as opposed to treating pathology as a therapist).
