The pictures are taken from my Blackberry. The stories are from my life. Here's my little way of remembering...
Oh What A Day!

You know when you day just starts out wrong...and it continues? While working this morning, the power went out in my house (and the block). Not only was I right in the middle of a story, but we had workers here fixing out bathroom and they had no electricity. So they had to deal with a flashlight and a saw basically until everything was fixed! Waste of our money and their time.
I put on clothes and slathered makeup on my face (IN THE DARK) and then BOLTED to Starbucks. No gas in the car. The thing was DINGING every 2 seconds, but I didn't have time to stop.
Get there - snort a bagel with cream cheese (because I have no self control) and start working again. My Sprint card is like molasses - so I got as much as I could get done before having to rush home and take Liam to his mommy and me class.
He loves it. I... don't. The women are all nice, but I don't really relate to any of them and all we end of doing is talking about the kids while my son gets bullied by the boys in the class. He is so kind and these boys all have older siblings, so they are much rougher. It's terrible. I'm paying to have Liam get shoved around basically. Ugh.
As I am walking to my car, Natalie's teacher stops me and says my daughter was coughing uncontrollably in class today. WHAT? Gagging basically - gasping for air. I go home and call the doctor and then hop back in the car to take her to get checked for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. He FINALLY gave us some antibiotics (Liam too because he apparently has a stuffed chest as well).
I get home and Bill has to run out and get tiles. Natalie refused to take a nap and is now watching television. Liam is still not adjusted to his big boy bed so he's all over the place and I don't have a writer for the afternoon because she is on vacation - which is totally FINE. It's just been that kind of day.
I had chicken defrosted to cook. That ain't happening. We are ordering in and I am not even going to stress about that.
My cousin is coming over at 6 to play Tomb Raider (we are a team - I don't play without her) and she is bringing over the new Resident Evil which is supposed to be super hard. I can't wait to just chill out and waste the evening away. I feel like I've been running around all day nonstop.
What a test!

Ditto...
The Museum Of Natural History
I took a million pictures and they all came out blurry. I don't know how that happened??? Probably because my kids were running around like ANIMALS. They couldn't believe everything they were seeing. Racing back and forth between exhibits. Should have videoed instead.
Wish I had more to share from last week, but this is the best I can offer.
We are definitely going to return.
Someone Has A Big Boy Bed
Oh the sense of freedom Liam has these days... Oh how he loves to get up and see what everyone is doing... Oh how he doesn't want to nap anymore...
OY VEY!
Well, each day that passes gets better. And Natalie took about 3 days to totally get over the fact that she can get up out of her bed whenever she wants. I'm just hoping it works the same way with Liam.
This morning he came in our room around 6 and climbed in bed with us. I put him on my chest and he fell asleep again for another hour. Not such a bad thing I suppose.
:)
One day I'll blink and he won't be living with me anymore. So I am just trying to slow things down a bit.
Took My Last FLIPPING TEST

Are you ready? According to the VNG... I DON'T have vertigo of the inner ear which means I can't get any balance therapy. The ear doctor on Friday said he thought it was related to my sight and not my ears - so I guess this makes sense. But I was surprised to say the least.
I still have to make an eye doctor appt - but I am going to take a little break on that.
The good news is I am DONE with this mass surge of doctor appts for now. I walked into the office and the woman said "Vera Sweeney right". I laughed because that's how many times I've been there lately.
The crazy thing is - it's always me and a bunch of 80 year olds. I am always the youngest by FAR and they are all looking at me with pity like... oh boy! what's wrong with her!!
I whip out my sudoko from the paper so they see I am still functioning! LOL. You have to laugh right. Trying to keep my sense of humor in all of this.
Ok I'm done for the day. Ordering Colombian food and am going to PIG out on rice and beans tonight. Diet it out the freaking window and I'm so OK with that. :)
Minus the egg and pork- that's pretty much what I get when I order it. Typical platter. YUM!
Until tomorrow.
