Natalie's Halloween Take Home Activity
Natalie brought home his really long Halloween sequence about carving a pumpkin. The teacher wrote a note on the bottom of it saying she had issues with the project. I'm all about learning what my daughter needs help with - but isn't it odd how she put the note on the FRONT of the project? I can't keep this even if I wanted to. I wish she wrote it on the back at least.
So My Mommy Brain Took Over
Let's see if you find this as humorous as I do.
I go to my doctor appt and sign in. Fill out the forms and hand them in. Turns out my appointment wasn't for today... it was for TOMORROW.
They couldn't squeeze me in today, and I can't go tomorrow because I am doing something with Natalie's school.
The following week the doctor is on vacation which means I had to push back my appointment 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!

Sigh - with the free time I had on my hands I ended up going to get a haircut. I told the lady to give me the LOB and she really didn't get what I was saying despite my efforts to explain what I meant. I ended up just getting about 3 inches cut off my hair... not a very sexy haircut. It's very plain but very healthy. So I will deal.
And like so many of you said - it will grow back soon enough.
Right after the cut, we headed over to my in laws for dinner. We put the kids to sleep and I sewed (to the best of my ability) Natalie's princess costume. I hope it STAYS TOGETHER for the next two days. Fingers crossed.
Today Is MRI Day
Im about to get dressed and head on out for my appointment. I'm not nervous - or I guess I should say I know I shouldn't be nervous. But I am. It's stupid! I mean, what are the chances these migraines are from something SERIOUS. Slim to none. I have to give myself this little pep talk. My husband has to pick up my daughter from school so I have to go alone which is making me a little scared too. I wish I had someone that could come with me. ugh...
Ok deep breath. Going to get dressed and get this over with. It's nothing. There is nothing to be afraid of.
I'm Thinking Of Cutting All My Hair Off
Ok well, not ALLLLLLLLLLLL my hair off - but I am seriously considering doing a LOB (long bob). My hair is SO damaged, fried, thin... FILLED with split ends. Over processed - begging me for help.
So I want to start new - but my hubby is TOTALLY against the cut. He HATES me with short hair and I admit - my face doesn't really work well with the look. But I want to just get it healthy again.
UGH - might go today if I build up enough courage...
Our Friend's Birthday Party
I'm telling you this weekend was madness. We had a 1 year old bday party, a sweet 16 and a halloween brunch in 2 days. We also had plans to attend this huge BBQ festival out in Suffolk, Long Island - but couldn't squeeze it in.
So here's Natalie's Halloween costume. The birthday party had a Halloween theme and we were all excited to FINALLY get to wear them.
Natalie went a little nuts and tore the skirt off of hers... Like literally. It's unwearable. I don't know how to sew and unless I pin it all together - she's got nothing to wear. I might put her in a Belle costume I have from 2 years ago. I refuse to buy another one because these suckers are expensive.
I just can't get enough of Liam's costume. I really can't.
